Long time customer of rio zonas and this was my first time back since college. It has been a year since i have been back and they have noticeably raised their prices and been giving smaller portions. Buisnesses should be raising prices to maintain there portions, not skimp out loyal customers.

Terrible service. Walked in and the guy told me to order at the kiosk. I order two empanadas. Then he tells me he's out of the ones I wanted and I should "check with him before ordering to see if the items are still in stock." My friend asked can't you just update the kiosk accordingly? He said no. I asked for a refund instead, he said he couldn't and that it was my fault. What a joke.

I popped into this place bc it was close to Fryman and I wanted a smoothie before my hike.. I picked the first spot on yelp and I'm sad to say I'm not impressed. The cashier offered no help or guidance on the menu nor did he even say hello which is fine but as someone who works in customer service a friendly attitude towards customers can help. But my issue was with the pricing and lack of ingredients! I spent $40 on a large smoothie and a large açaí bowl and legit only got 4 ingredients in each. The large smoothie is $16 base price and then $1.15 for every added ingredient. What's the $16 for then? Just the cup and oat milk? .. then the açaí bowl large is $17 and a $1.15 for added toppings which ur only allowed 4! You guys can do so much better.. not to mention the flavors aren't even there! I've gone to many açaí and smoothie shops and this was my most lack luster experience and I def expected more for the price. I basically paid for location! Uba tuba açaí and even the açaí spots in Venice are better tasting and have better options for toppings etc then here. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend.

Customer service can make or break! Went here on a Sunday evening and spent $30 on two bowls, one custom & one Americano with hemp protein powder. Took it to go... and got home with this crap. A half blended bowl with no fruit lol. Called the man who was working to ask for a refund (we can add our own fruit, no big deal) But his response was to argue... trying to tell us it was us who ordered a bowl with no fruit. (Our bill says otherwise) Then told us quote "come back at some other time and he'd remake it." A simple apology would've sufficed tbh lol Mistakes happen. But it's how they're handled... that will have me returning to the business or not. There are too many other açaí places nearby to return here.Customer service aside, the açaí itself is very good.

I used to love this place. I would go several times a week. I went today and it's all changed. My americano bowl had 6 blueberries and a few slices of banana and a half a strawberry. I asked for extra blueberries and employee stated the owner is limiting how many blueberries. Ok I get wanting to save money but now my bowl is NOT worth $11.Will not go back.Save money but lose customers??! Doesn't seem smart .

Absolutely the best. I used to not understand the trendy love for açaí bowls until I came to Riozonas Studio City location a couple months ago, and since then I’ve been going weekly (sometimes multiple times a week… no shame). The quality of the açaí is unlike any other place, the toppings are fresh, the health benefits are off the charts- you mustn’t hesitate to go!!

Ordered doordash with these guys and ordered a watermelon mint drink that they poorly packaged and sent tied up in a bag with an open lip so half of the drink was gone when delivered. Called to have them replace the drink and the manager offers a 15% discount on a full drink I paid for and didn't receive due to their poor packaging. Do not order from these guys because if they screw up your order somehow you won't be compensated but offered a discount. What a joke their customer service is. First and last time with these guys
