I had a relaxing early dinner of Caesar salad and loaded tots and watched the Lakers game on the patio while I crocheted and no one said anything bad about it! Lol! They let me have my chill vibe! The hard cider is yummy too!

Edited to fix typos: Misleading Closing Times at Studio City Stout — Choose Hollywood Location InsteadI'm writing this review to share a recent experience at Stout in Studio City that left me and my party deeply disappointed and frustrated. The reason for this review is to provide feedback that can potentially save others from a similar experience. We planned a visit to Stout and took a 50-minute Uber Black ride from Venice, LA, to arrive at this location. Based on the information we found online, it indicated that the restaurant closed at 10 pm. More importantly, we called in advance twice and were told both times that the kitchen would be open until 9 pm. This information was crucial to our decision to make the journey.Imagine our shock when we arrived well before 9pm, and a bartender who told us his name was CR informed us that the kitchen was already closed and could not serve us. This was extremely disappointing and felt like a blatant miscommunication. To make matters worse, the response to our situation was far from accommodating. When we attempted to explain to CR that we called in advance twice, his response was that we should have inquired about "what time they stop serving" instead of "what time the kitchen closes." The discrepancy between the advertised closing time and the actual kitchen closing time was misleading and created a frustrating experience. This experience was atypical for us, as we've frequented the Santa Monica location countless times without any issues. To my surprise, I read a review from someone who encountered a similar situation just a week ago. How many times does this need to happen before it's addressed? However, in an effort to make the best of the evening, we reached out to the Hollywood location on Cahuenga Boulevard, which assured us that they would be open until 10 pm and would continue serving until then. The contrast in experiences between the two locations was stark. The Hollywood branch provided the level of service and hospitality that we've come to expect from Stout, and it was a complete opposite of what we experienced in Studio CityIf you're planning to dine at Stout, I strongly recommend choosing the Hollywood location to avoid disappointment and miscommunication regarding closing times. The experience there is consistent with the positive experiences we've had in the past at the Santa Monica location. We were so sad to hear about the closure of the location closest to us — the end of an era.

I called this evening to the Burbank location and specifically ask “when does the kitchen close?” as we are based in Venice beach and it’s a far drive . I’m told 9pm.We drive 45 minutes and are told by CR, the same person who I spoke to on the phone —- CANT serve us (it’s 8:45pm). Im stunned, furious and tell the host, “You told me the kitchen closes at 9?!”He shrugs his shoulders, could give less of a DAMN and says oh “we stop seating at 8:30” — mind boggling.DONT put that you’re open till 10pm, tell people your “kitchen closes at 9pm” when in reality you’re closed for orders by 8:30!!!Never seen someone destroy any chance of so many previous stout fans going to this location ever again in one go.

Slow service and less than average food. Not impressed - after being seated it took more than 5 minutes for service with only one other table seated in the restaurant. We saw our waitress twice and we went to the bar to pay when leaving because our kids were being bit by bugs outside. The food was average. Not impressed and not somewhere we would go back to for a burger, fries or tots.

On a recent visit the sever told us that despite what the menu said, all of the burgers were now $17. That’s right, regardless of the ingredients or original pricing, all burgers are now the same price. I have to admire the simplicity but also like…what?? This would seemingly encourage people to order the burgers they perceived to be fancier, and leave the simpler ones by the wayside.I’m also slightly annoyed that the beer list is a QR code that takes you to their Untapped page - no prices listed. My seasonal beer was $8Otherwise, this is a chill place to relax and enjoy a delicious burger and a beer or two. But the recent, and frankly bizarre, management changes have me concerned for its future.

I showed up here at 830pm and it say the restaurant close at 10pm. They told me they already closed the kitchen and are not serving any more food. totally fine but it would be nice to know that information before you drive out to the restaurant and waste the time doing it. If you not gonna keep the kitchen open past a certain time tell your customers that.

Food was 10 of 10 according to my kids. It us kid friendly. Burgers are small for $16.00 and don't include fries, fries are $9.00 extra, but incredible and delicious.Table was sticky, you'd think that after the pandemic a clean table is a given, but it's not. Overall experience is a solid 7 of 10, if table was clean 8 of 10, if burgers were bigger a 9 of 10, if burgers included fries a 10 of 10.

I live in San Diego, but come here for a burger, fries, rings, and beer when I'm in town. Delicious burgers ? ? fries and onion rings. Lots of beer options and if you're unsure of one, they'll provide a taste. I look forward to my next visit.

We had a great experience at Stout! Our burgers were amazing and the loaded tots were out of this world. The beer menu is fantastic and the hand made cocktails were also delicious. Highly recommend, would definitely go again.

Our friends from the area invited us to eat here and my husband and I love burgers. My husband ordered the classic cheese burger and I ordered the morning after burger protein style and an arugula salad. The overall experience of the restaurant was great, but the servers were slow and didn't ask if we wanted anything else. The restaurant wasn't full, so I didn't understand why the waiters were slow. The food was delicious and fresh! I love the fact the burgers are made in house (fresh, not frozen ground beef), The ingredients are unique for each burger, and they work as far as taste. The arugula salad was very delicious and full of flavor! The crispy onion straws were the highlight!

The burgers are delicious here. Got the Stout Burger, has the right amount of Blue cheese, and the carmalized onions and horseradish sauce make it. The loaded fries are also good. The cheese sauce is amazing. The service here is very good. Ive had Nathan as my server a few times. Hes very personable and nice. I love stouts so this is one place I know any time of the year I can fund a few to choose from. The beer list is always retating so I know there will always be something different to try. Only downside is the parking lot is small and akward.

Best beer options in the North Hollywood area. Couple that with their perfect loaded tots and outstanding burgers, and it's hard to imagine anything better for this kind of restaurant. The service can be slow sometimes, which is a tad frustrating, but can be remedied by hailing waiters and knowing what you want before they come by. We're regulars by now though, so the service obviously doesn't bother us that much.

First time there. Don't want to judge the overall , might just be an issue with the afternoon chef ?. I love tater tots that are crispy on the outside and soft-ish on the inside ( like a good McDonald's french fry) but these were on the edge of burnt crispy on the outside and crispy to the core . Like what you would get from frying in cold oil ?. We ordered the burger that comes with a fried sunny side up egg. The burger came out with the majority of the egg white around the yoke uncooked and still translucent ?. Burger meat was good though. The restaurant only had 3 other tables going so the floor service was great but I don't understand the poor quality of service from the kitchen staff. I don't drink alcohol so I can't attest to the quality of the beer selection ?.
