BEST sushi in town! My favorite is the Crouching Tiger. 10/10 recommend every time.

I usually have lunch boxes cause they have many varieties with different rolls and I don’t really eat raw fish . I was late for literally 4 min to order that lunch box and my server declined my order and she didn’t even try to ask main manager and that was only 4 min being late . She could’ve try her best at least.

If you love sauces then this is your place to go. All the rolls are smothered with sauces to keep you from tasting the mediocre quality of the fish.

Don't get California sushi there. They are awful. Baked salmon, on the other hand is highly recommended.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and the entrance are leveled

Very attentive and friendly staff on a busy night. Went on Valentine's Day wanted something casual with good food, and didn't want prix fix dinner like most other restaurants on this holiday. Has a large menu with variety of rolls, combo plates, hot dishes, and had non seafood items. The sushi was very fresh. Parking is free in a small plaza with other businesses so hard to find parking. Street meter parking read the signs after 8pm is free and free on Sundays currently.

It took me along time to end up at Sushi Dan. My go to is closer to Coldwater. SD IS Every bit as good as the much pricier sushi fare on Ventura. It’s not cheap, about average for sushi in the valley but it is well worth the price! The staff is attentive and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Sushi Dan is an absolute gem tucked away in the valley! From the moment you step in, the staff's accommodating nature makes you feel right at home. What truly sets them apart is their exceptional kid-friendly atmosphere, making family outings a breeze. As for the sushi, it's nothing short of amazing; each roll bursting with flavor and freshness. And let's not forget the lightning-fast service, ensuring you're never left waiting. If you're searching for a hidden culinary treasure, look no further than Sushi Dan!

I've coming here for years and not until recently I ordered to go and discovered during dinner with a family of 10, that the sushi is old and simply not edible. They used to be great and it is evident they have lost their way... I will not be returning.

Some of the worst sushi I’ve had in years. I’ve had way better sushi from a supermarket. Quality of fish is terrible. They even managed to mess up a California roll by adding too much mayonnaise… you could taste it and consistency was almost liquidy. My kids ordered the kids salmon teriyaki and the fish was not only dry but super fishy and bland. Last, they were terribly short staffed and waitresses were passive aggressive. Do yourself a favor and go to katsuya down the street.

Hostess seemed like the owner, and she greeted / seated us quickly with a smile. It is a typical, small business sushi restaurant. Servers were attentive & ordering wasn’t challenging. The fish tasted good, but we felt presentation & the amount of fish given was lacking. Miso soup was tasty & hot, as it should be. Extra points for being generous with ginger. We’ll definitely be back for a quick sushi stop!

Food was so expensive and came cold and missing items. Not only that it didn’t taste fresh. Very disappointing for the astronomical price.
