The sushi and ramen were great and the server was fantastic. Our kids use chopsticks all the time but dropped like 4 and he was there with fresh ones in seconds. Kind of an odd sports bar vibe with lots of live sports tv's without being too loud or boisterous.

We were in Studio city and looking for a Sushi place for lunch. Katsuya is usually my first choice but it was a little past 1.30 pm and I didn't want to feel rushed as Katsuya closes at 2 pm or 2.30. We settled on the Sushi house deciding to give it a try. The first thing I look at when entering a new place is the level of cleanliness. The floors had just been cleaned as they were still a bit wet but the feel of slipperiness under our feet suggested that they merely smeared the grease around with some water. That wasn't a deal breaker but not the best scenario to prepare oneself for a meal. The waitress wasn't rude but quite disinterested and clearly uninformed about the menu. The food itself wasn't bad at all. The tuna roll was on par and we really enjoyed the dragon roll. The Sushi itself was fresh and ok but somehow a bit uninspired. Somehow I think they are better than what we experienced, perhaps they were feeling a bit lazy with the holidays fast approaching. I would give it a 3.5 but closer to 4 than 3. As a final note, it was reasonably priced.

Great sushi. Service is excellent. Make sure you try the Big AL roll. It's the best in town.

Service was friendly and food came out fast.Sushi was ok. Nothing special and below average for Studio City. The lighting in there is just god awful!

Amazing calm date night ambience with cute decor and buttery nigiri! A really good staple roll: the shooting star roll

Solidly fine sushi. The ambiance is nice but nothing to write home about. The service was good but also had a situation where items were taking a long time to come out. Had to ask two or three times about crispy rice with tuna before it came out. Was probably over 30 mins from the time I ordered it. The prices are fair, would come back on a day when they are having their happy hour though.

We come there once in a month, never regret, always good and relatively not expensive sushi and other stuff.
