Wow, I discovered this place by accident cuz I had the intention of dining in a nearby restaurant but it was closed. Since I was already very hungry, I decided to give this place a try and I was glad I did. Definitely a hole in the wall in this part of NoHo, this place has minimal decorations and a few tables and chairs for dining customers. I ordered three tacos, asada, pollo and pastor. I loved each one of them. Definitely tasted very authentic, I thought for a second I was in Mexico. I'm hoping to drop by again soon cuz I want to try the charbroiled chicken which looks like is the specialty here.

I've been on a fire roasted chicken kick as of late and Pop's Chicken ? did not disappoint. Nice char on the chicken and great flavor. Rice and beans were pretty standard, but I loved the salsa. Super flavorful! and I think the tortillas were handmade. All this in a three piece combo for less than $15. I'll definitely be back.

Stopped in here and grabbed some carne asada and polio asado tacos. Absolutely, delicious!!! I ended up going back in and grabbing a whole chicken plate and taking it home to my family and we devoured it! Rice and beans were very good, as well as the salsa. Thank you very much Pop's Chicken! We will be back for more!

The Whole charbroiled chicken is just delicious, and enjoyed the rice and beans too. Very homemade good flavor. Ill definitely order this again.Great new find,for juicy smoky chicken!

They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!Parking: you can park in the food bank area

So was tempted to lower my review by one star but it's probably the best bbq chicken I have ever eaten. The service isn't bad nor is the man actually rude just a total lack of personality. But I am definitely a life time customer

I wanted to load a picture of the burned and dry (2)chickens I’m not able to, And Honestly it’s a shame I have no words by his actions when literally asked him “the owner “. That I needed fresh orders since I’m having company over. And having to experience this problem before, but never mention it to him. I just want to make sure I get what I pay for ..besides him being non social he never says hi or bye or thank you for your business. I always try to have a conversation with him he doesn’t even acknowledges me, I heard this from others but I thought I could win him over lol. But no not possible.He owns his Attitude…. I see it as everyone has problems and we never know what others are going through…But but never the less…how I spend my $$? For (2) orders for a family gathering… I’m embarrassed to serve this disgusting meal . Just a warning check your order before you walk out!!!! ⚠️

Just tried this place on a whim after seeing it on the map. Best choice I've made this year. All the food here is amazing!! The chicken was exploding with great flavor. They have handmade tortillas and a super yummy salsa on the side. I k ow for sure I'll be back soon
