Dang this place is LEGIT! How do I know? Cuz I was taken here by a REAL. LIFE. FILIPINA. So yeah, it is what it is. We got some two combo plates, a whole bunch chicken adobo, little sausage wienies, dried Pork stuff, Sweet'n'Zour Pork stuff and some other beef stuff. It was a pretty solid serving, but I had just come from a stellar workout, so I was eXXXtra hungo. Ya see, on Tuesday, I had done Chest and Back, good ol' Push'n'pull day, and that was lovely, as it always is. Glamour muscles, amirite?! Course I yam! Then on Wednesday, I was working out with Izzy, and we hadn't done a pusherpuller day together yet, so we were due for one. A little background - Izzy has never done traditional weighted workouts (weight rooms can be intimidating AF, yo!), so she needed a coach. Enter Mikey, stage right. I was worried that I was going to be doing too much pushin' and too much pullin', but it actually ended up being really awesome! I was able to do a lot more strength focusing, rather than muscle building. So after that pump, I was ready for ANOTHER pump. The kind where I pump food into my fat face until I hate myself :D Food - A+! Diarrhea - swift and unforgiving - A+++ kThxBai! LuvYou! :D

I’ve been going to this place for almost 8 yrs— Food is good— But today I stopped by on my way to work- Asked the guy if I can seperate the adobo dish from the rice, he capped an attitude and said “ We don’t put it on seperate containers anymore”! I said I’ll pay for the container as I don’t like it running all over my plate by the time I get to work it will be messy and the juices leak out of the plate— This ugly guy who’s rude and mean won’t budge, I said, Cmon Kuya, jokingly smiled to him and I said , I’ve been coming here for years, and he goes “ IT DOESNT MATTER”! So I left cuz if people don’t value customers loyalty, I’d rather go to RENE ROSE and not be stressed out with some stupid container! Your customer service sucks and don’t put servers that aren’t even happy to work there!!!You just lost a Customer today!

Great Filipino food in a small simple setting. We ordered Laing, lechon kawali, longinisa, bbq pork, turon, and cassava cake. It was about $40. Delicious dishes similar to home cooking.

I would recommend for you to go to Rose, about three minutes away, instead.

Looks like the rest of the Filipino family owned restaurants when you walk in, have the hot foods you can chose from that they've made for the day. I'm assuming because I went in on a Monday almost 5pm, a majority of the fresh other items were all gone but, I stuck w/the usual foods I always get when I'm craving Filipino food, it might not look too appetizing but, everything I got was flavorful & I was not too happy with the pork adobo (too dry) for my taste. Would visit again if I'm on that side of town
