We ordered butter chicken and malai kofta. The butter chicken was the worst i have ever had. The chicken was stale, stinky and tough. Will never order again

Amazing food. Highly recommend. Had goat biryani (succulent), chatinad chicken (spicy and decadent) and daal makhni (creamy and rich). It's owned by the same people from Indian tadka on el camnino.

While restaurants are really cutting down on service, this quiet little sit down place served us good food with real plates and utensils. We went on a Friday night and were the only dine in customers. We ordered a starter, a curry, some rice and naan. Food was tasty and reasonable priced, and service was good.

One of the best biryani place in bay area. The star of the show, undoubtedly, is their biryani. Each grain of rice is perfectly cooked and infused with a blend of aromatic spices that are bold yet not overpowering. The meat, whether it's chicken, lamb, or goat, is tender, juicy, and flawlessly integrates with the flavors of the rice. It's a delightful harmony of taste and texture that tantalizes the palate. Highly recommend to any adventurous palate.

A HIDDEN GEM for Indian food in the Bay! They have some authentic dishes, but we tried the classics which were great portion size and full of flavor.FOOD [5/5]----------------+ Paneer Tikka Masala [4/5]Spinach curry with paneer cheese-- it's made pretty well. I think it could be spicier and/or saltier, but that's just my personal preference. Portion size is great for 1-2 people. + Chicken Tikka Masala [5/5]This was amazing! Perfectly seasoned and the chicken was tender. + Chili Chicken [5/5]This was SO good! Very spicy (water will be needed) and has fresh onions and green onions to balance it out. + Garlic Naan [5/5]Great portion size (2 large circles, 8 triangles total) and good flavor. The naan is soft & fluffy and was perfectly seasoned.SERVICE [5/5]-------------------Super friendly staff and attentive. Didn't need to wait at all to ask for water, add more to our order, and get the check. :)

They have a combo. Order that to the most value for your money. The service is normal, nothing great. But it was on time.A very casual ambience. We had a veg combo which came with a naan, some biryani ( veg table biryani in this case) , some manchurian and a choice of curry. We had malli kofta qnd it was good. The biryani was more of gravy and less of rice, but was filling for the combo. We had ulavacharu panneer biryani and the ulavacharu was obviously not fresh nor is the cream added. The panneer did not have flavour. The biryani rice was cooked well though.
