We have been to DishDash many times and previously I have always thought of it as a 5 star place. The service is always good and the dishes are well-presented.However yesterday we ventured away from our typical dishes, Maza Sampler and Reyash. The Rihan appetizer was good but next time maybe we should try the Babaghanouge. My wife enjoyed her Tiki Kebab with Brussels Sprouts but I was pretty disappointed with my Tabsi Falafel. It tasted more like a typical American stew except with Falafels. At least the Falafels were excellent. The other two vegetarian entree choices did not look too appealing which is why I think in the past I always ended up just getting the Maza Sampler.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian entree options.

Food and service was generally great. The seating is a little unfortunate - we were told there would be a longer wait to sit inside, and even after waiting, eventually directed to outside seats where a lot of bits were falling from the trees and it was slightly colder. The tables inside were mostly empty so not sure what happened.

I've been coming here for the past 5 years when in Sunnyvale on business (including through the lock down due to covid). The food has always been great. You get a more than generous serving. But what is fantastic is that we've seen only a slight increase in price for the same amount of food (maybe a bit more if you can believe it) over these past 5 years. The SHISH TAOUK is the best!! Oh, and by the way, their restaurant on Mathilda is a great place for lunch.

The service and atmosphere were delightful and portions were humongous. This is a great place to bring a large group of friends or host a work outing. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the food. I didn’t like the smoky flavor of the tabsi falafel. I would come back and try other vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: There could be more vegetarian options

I loved the restaurant and dine in every time we have been here! This review is although for their catering service which we recently tried - they have catering packages for groups of 5 people, thought the quantity was good enough for 7 people if you are also getting multiple appetisers or other spread. Online ordering system for catering is soo easy and the process of pickup was soo smooth. They had all our food packed and ready to go on the committed time. Food was incredible as always, everyone loved it! I was surprised to see even vegetarian food get over soo quickly - we order maza platter, veggie sambusak, tabsi falafel platter(it was soo good) and beriyani dajaj.
