We came in for a quick bite and got some beers and potato skins. The potato skins were some of the best we've ever had!!!! Bartender was friendly and attentive. Great selection of beers. Awesome atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Fibbars is great. I went here Friday night and got the 9 yard burger with thier home made potato chips. The burger is a 1/2 pound and seems larger. Meat is fresh and very good. The home made potato chips are substantial and excellent tasting. I told my date to try one and we ended up having to fight for them - they are that good! Only piece of advice to Fibbars and many others...give out or post physical menus: these QR code menus are hard to navigate lead to a dirty phone.

The flat iron steak salad was okay - plenty of steak, small amount of salad with okay variety of ingredients (greens, cherry tomatoes, pepper, and cheese). I asked for medium rare but the steak was more rare than expected. The quality of the steak was mediocre. The salad dressing was too sweet.

I really enjoy going to Fibber McGee's on Fridays and Saturday nights when they are open until 1:30 AM. We love the drinks specials and the I believe it was 75 beers on tap the man at the front door told me. The staff is really friendly and nice. Especially the nice man at the front door. Great DJ on the weekends and dancing. Lots of fun!

The bartender was the most inattentive I've ever seen. I was sitting there and she never came to serve me. Then a group comes in and she decides to serve them first. I finally get served and tell her I will need a shot of whiskey at 5 when happy hour starts. At 5 she is nowhere to be seen. I look at the end of the bar and she is there eating. NEVER going back. I went to Lily Macs where they care about me.

NO DOGS OR IRISH! I've been here many times for good food but lackluster service. Today I wasn't even refused politely, a smarmy food server remarked no dogs allowed and walked away!!! We were on the patio which is a public street. So took my Irish a*s and Irish dog to Lilly Mac's on the same street for a friendly Irish welcome and good food. Boycott this place if you are a dog lover.

I noticed that all the places I like to go to are 3.5 stars. This is a great place to get together for drinks, and it is a perfectly fine place to eat. The daily specials help me to come back because I can save a bit of money. I get together here with friends, and my family love the place, too. Service has always been very good. Here's a thing. Metro, across the street? Excellent brunch spot! But their burgers ... if I want a decent burger I go to Fibbar's. The fish and Chips are right on. Shepherd's Pie ... oh man. And tell you what? I can't drink for a few months. Lagunitas IPNA? Guinness Zero! Fibbar's has good stuff for every need. So, go ahead, rank this place 3.5 stars. Us middle-aged people who aren't hip-azz Yelpers dig this joint! Also, just stop ordering food deliveries, y'all! 6,000 fees for poorly-packed cold food? This ain't 2020 anymore. Grab an N-95 and live a little. The outdoor seating is great!

Forget this place. It is staffed by a very rude 'manager'. I went there with a guest from India who was coming back to the Bay Area after many years and wanted to enjoy the Murphy Street experience all over again. Bad choice picking Fibbar Magees. It was Thursday evening around six and the place was almost full with two empty tables outside. I went in to check and was told by the waitress to grab any open seat. An elderly lady next to her, probably the manager, told me that they were reserved by people who have paid for it and the wait for another table to vacate may be long. As I walked out, I saw a family leaving and went back in to check again with the 'manager'. She was out right rude and told me they were busy and it may take long to get the tables cleaned, clearly she did not want us as patrons. I opened the door for her to take her drinks outside and instead of saying any polite thanks, she saw my friend sitting on a chair by the recently vacated table and asked him not to sit on her dirty table. My friend has a bad back and was giving it a rest. We had had enough. We walked away to the Lily Mac's bar nearby, a friendly and warm place staffed by people with very good attitude and manners. Fibbar Magees management should convey it to their employees that they should learn to park their emotions outside the door when they come to work. The same message could have been communicated in a polite manner, everyone here understands the shortage of labor, and we would have walked away without any negative feelings. Customer is number one, especially when you are in the service business. I may only be the tip of the iceberg that takes time to write a review.

We were in the area while waiting for the car to be serviced and we ventured in downtown Sunnyvale and stopped there since it had the most amount of people in the afternoon. Our server was new but amazing and went above and beyond and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. I had the fried zucchini and the safety dance and I was happy with both choices. Their ranch sauce is one of the best I've tried and normally I don't really like ranch sauce. I will come back when they have Trivia and Taco Tuesday

(4:30 - 6:00) Service wasn't great, had to ask about previous orders, almost each time we ordered. The female server (manager??) was forgetful, and demeaning (out loud) to the new employee who was learning/training ....... Awkward. Did I mention it was NOT crowded at all. Disappointing. Ohhh and this is an "Irish pub" and it's Saturday evening, they are "out of corn beef"! . That's a big reason we came here......

Fibbars! My gosh I hadn't been here in 10-15 years or so. My old highschool friends and I came here for ol times sake 2 weekends ago and it was everything we'd hope it would be-- same food, 00s beats paired with our remembered ambience circa 2009. So grateful this place hasn't renovated or upgraded their tables to be honest. Weird comment I'm sure for those who aren't bay area natives but the charm of Fibbars is the coziness. I couldn't remember how the food was before (it's been too long) but I can confirm their pizza is great! Sandwich and potato skins are typical pub food. The food is maybe 3.5/5 but the service and vibes is 5 for sure. Can't wait to come back!

This was my first ever experience at an Irish Pub and it was such a unique but fun experience. We were honoring and celebrating my past co-worker (fun fact: she's Scottish) going back to Scotland so we went to one of her favorite pubs in the Bay Area. We were a huge group of 10+ people and the staff were amazing at accommodating our requests so shout out to the amazing staff! We sat outside in front of the entrance which felt nice since it was a warm day. I ordered a Midori Sour which was delicious and shared an appetizer sampler, which came with jalapeño poppers, sweet potato fries, and chicken tenders (tenders not pictured). My only complaint was that the tenders were a little dry for my taste but it was great as drunk munchies haha Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends looking for a fun place to socialize and get fun drinks.

A stapel for downtown Sunnyvale! I've been here with my husband for many day dates & nights; been here with friend groups; even been here after Art & Wine! It's great for all occasions. The outdoor seating is the best seating in the house with all the twinkle lights & fun music, it's the best thing for a summer night. Occasionally they will have live music or turn it into an early 2000s rave (I'm exaggerating on rave part, but they have some pretty sick beats depending on the day & time). The fried zucchini is something you should not miss. One time I had 4 orders all to myself - don't judge me. I love their serving team. Everyone I've ever encountered has always been so funny, attentive, & witty. It is always a grand ol' time with the Magee' team. Prices are medium. For a decent night out with food & drink, it is about $75-$100 a person (without tax & tip). While I personally think it's a tad high, it doesn't matter because: the service is always excellent, the food is good, & the drinks are always great. You can always count on the same great experience. The other plus: there are tons of shops, bars, restaurants, & clubs around the downtown area to make day/ even complete.

Extremely relaxed, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Almost don't want it to get too popular to change the vibe

This was actually my first time trying out this sports bar. The girls and I decided to hit downtown Sunnyvale and we were definitely extremely satisfied customers. From the food to the service definitely 5 stars. We had the appetizer platter, wings and of course drinks. The food had FLAVOR and we even ordered seconds because it was so delicious. I'm a very picky eater but I was more than satisfied here. The environment was a vibe, fun, exciting and the perfect night out sports bar. Now the best part was our waiter/server Jeremy! Awesome, friendly, kind, outgoing personality with a cute smile. He made us not want to leave and I'm we will definitely be back for him and the food! Thank You Fibbar Magees and Jeremy !
