My friend and I came here after dinner and they have a wide selection of flavors but the taste is so/so. I got half English toffee and half cookies and cream, and my friend got a milkshake. The gelato was quite heavy but tasty, and my friend's milkshake was terrible. Her milkshake was unfortunately so watery and it tasted like straight milk.

Closest/Most Similar Gelato to the Motherland. I have had gelato in Roma, Assisi, Florence, and Venice and this is the place has the best gelato. The banana is awesome and no walnuts!

A favorite spot for something sweet to follow up a meal. My son had a dulce de leche with mint chocolate. While I normally go for a mix of the coffee and the hazelnut, this time I opted for something a little lighter... Lychee and mango. The flavors were spot on, and the gelato was light and refreshing.

Best gelato in the Bay Area! Nice local spot with friendly service. Freshly made by the proprietor and it shows!

Regular favorite of ours; friendly service, more of a stroll with your gelato after dinner versus hanging out to eat it here although in the summer it can be a fabulous experience during the heat while enjoying the farmer's market. Frankie got the chocolate chocolate (it's a deep dark rich cocoa color) and I got half/half of butterscotch and peanut butter and chocolate. all the flavors were delightfully smooth and creamy.

There are many flavors. Butterscotch was fun. The guava did not really taste like the fruit. The flavors I thought would be exotic: stracciatela and gianduyo were more like chocolate chip and hazelnut with chocolate. It was fine.

It's an ice cream shop that won't let you sample any of the flavors. Why bother?

They don't offer samples, so it's hard to choose a flavor. The passion fruit flavor is literally sour and the taro yogurt is also okay. There's more ice in the ice cream than actual gelato. Seems like fake

I would give negative stars if I can. Extremely bad customer service. The guy on the counter was very rude and being sarcastic

The gelatos are mouthwatering. We tried Tiramisu and Butterscotch and the flavors were bang on. Can’t wait to try other flavors ?

It's okish icecream place. We took banana , butterscotch flavors and they were average tasting. It's more ice than ice cream. Super sweet and very watery

I took the family on a warm evening for gelato. There was one gentleman behind the counter, very polite. We ordered a total of 4 gelatos with two flavors each. A line started growing behind us. There was outdoor seating and we tasted each other's gelato's. They were cold and refreshing. Outdoors was nice. Gelato flavors tasted like they should :).

We stopped into Gelateria Bella Roma on a Friday night, purely because it was across the street from our dinner at Burma Taste, and it exceeded all expectations! The man at the counter was sweet and happily answered questions about their many flavors. I chose the Dark Chocolate Gelato (or as he described, extra extra dark chocolate) and it was absolutely incredible. Chocolate ice cream isn't even my go-to, but this one was SO rich and the perfect level of sweetness. My friend got an English Toffee Milkshake, which was also phenomenal. Would happily return for more!
