Myself and four friends went last night for karaoke and dinner. I hadn't been here since it was the Gold Rush Cafe and I'm so happy that they got a liquor license. I got a cheeseburger with tater tots and that cheeseburger was fabulous. Broiled and a thick patty. The bun could be a little bit less processed. I really wish they would change out their hamburger buns. My friends all got different things. My best friend got a pulled pork sandwich and she also said that the bun was very prefab but the pulled pork was excellent. Another friend got chicken enchiladas and he was happy with them. Another friend got chicken tenders and fries, and she liked those. I can't remember what the other person got or maybe I don't even know, lol! Alan was the KJ last night, and I guess he does karaoke every Wednesday there from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. He's hilarious. He does his schtick in a Wolfman Jack voice and he's awesome. Makes everybody feel like they're the star. I will definitely go back again. Clean bathrooms. I sure wish they would change out their hamburger buns.

Don't understand all the good reviews. For over $20 for a brisket plate I expect the brisket to not be bone dry and have no flavor. The only reason this isn't 1 star was because the pulled pork sandwich was halfway decent. Also the size of sides is incredibly small, even the up-charged side of fries was tiny.

Tried all of the meats and they were all top quality, juicy, flavorful and well worth the money. Ribs, brisket, chicken, hot links, pulled pork - all worthy of the best smokehouses. We were also told they will be having live music on select nights starting next month. All 3 of the bbq sauces were worthy, but the meat oesn't need them. This is deceptivley close to the corner of Wolfe and El Camino Real. I can't believe it doen't get more customers at lunch. We also tried the crackling, chicharrones, whatever you want to call it, and they were incredible - light, crispy, fresh. If you go, make sure you get an order of these for sure. We didn't try the burgers. What kind of person goes to a bbq and orders a burger? Make sure to get some chicken. The skin was great and the meat was juicy and tender. The pulled pork taco was also a winner. All of the food carries out well, so if you have to feed an office this is a great catering option. No, I am not associated with the business in any way. I jsut want a good lcoal bbq to stay in business. Please give them your patronage.

Short and simple! Staff is AMAZING! It's cozy inside with an awesome outside with TVs all around for sports viewing!. Super family friendly! I've got to say I keep coming for the hospitality! The owners are always so fun and wanting to make you happy! I've read some bad reviews on food and I'm confused. It's always delicious! Corned beef this weekend was delicious! Love ya OG!

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered the The corn beef it was terrible, full of fat nothing but fat, small, regular carrots that were not even boiled you buy them in a plastic bag. They were not fresh carrots. The red potatoes were not cooked enough either the whole dinner was disappointing. Very disappointing. My family and I feel sick after eating here. There are many people today who are afraid to give back their food or exchange it because they are scared of ridicule or being treated harshly. I’m sad to say this place just confirms those fears. When I asked for a refund I was hung up on and told that they were too busy.

The BBQ smells really good but we tried the special which was corned beef and cabbage. It was okay just not great. Generous portions.Parking: This is located in the city's 9 hole golf course and driving range so parking can be difficult.

Back again, same story. Just such a half arsed effort. It is like they know how to cook but don't know how to keep it good throughout a shift. I think the golfer are just starving after a round and would eat anything. It's like everything is four hours past good and just gets crusty and dried out. The tater tots were good though but the meats are just so salted out and dry, every time. Want a beer and some bar food, they got ya, but if expecting good bbq keep it movin.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining here and it was nothing short of disappointing. I ordered four burgers, hoping for a satisfying meal, but what I got was four hockey pucks. Each burger was overdone and as dry as hell. It was honestly the worst burger I've ever had in my life. I really think my 5 yo Nephew could have cooked me something more edible. To add insult to injury, the French fries were a sad excuse for a side dish. They were cold and soggy, as if they had been sitting around for a day or two. Keep in mind I ate this food less than 10 min after it was handed to me. As if the main course wasn't bad enough, we decided to treat ourselves to root beer floats for dessert. Big mistake. The ice cream tasted like it had been stored in the freezer since the Ice Age. It was old, freezer burned, and completely ruined what little enjoyment we had left. All four of us agreed that we should have just thrown our money into a dumpster fire instead of wasting it on this dismal excuse for a meal. Needless to say, I will never be setting foot in this restaurant ever again. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this culinary catastrophe.

The food is great here! They actually have Devil's Canyon Root Beer on tap. It is so delicious. They had a Super Bowl party. $12 for all you can eat appetizers through out the game. Chicken wing that were super crispy, egg rolls, tater tots, fried ravioli, build your own nachos, freshly fried pork rinds....my mouth is watering again It's at Sunken Gardens in Sunnyvale. Worth the drive!
