Ordered the roasted garlic chicken pizza. The chicken had no flavor and the garlic was definitely not fresh as it was mushy and also did not have any flavor. The crust itself was good but that’s about it.

Eh, its okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff as this place, while having top tier type Italian food such as steak & fish on their menu, tends to lean more towards the pizza and Calzone fair and crowd. I'm sure those are good but its not what we ordered. Their Alfredo sauce was bland and tasted like a basic flour roux, no cheese flavor at all. The peppercorn sauce that came with the steak was sour tasting. Everything was fine, just seemed low quality ingredients. My partner and I couldn't stop commenting on how they are trying to do too much; huge number of items on their menu. The perfect Restaurant Impossible candidate. Reduce your menu offers and save that spend to purchase higher quality ingredients for the item most often ordered. You do get tons of food with every order as garlic bread come free, which was awesome, as does a side of pasta, which was unnecessary and bland. Also sherbert as dessert is free. While we do appreciate these things, I'd prefer just better tasting fresh ingredients if we had to pick between the two. Prices were ok... if the taste had been better. They were better 10 years ago when we went more often. At this point, however, we likely won't be back.

Very good with good portions. I had the spaghetti with meat and mushrooms and it was fantastic. This seems like the type of restaurant that I can eat at all the time. Unfortunately I live a thousand miles away.

We were planning to seat indoor due to cold windy weather , but the restaurant was stuffy & massy with old boxes around , unpleasant dining area end up we seated outdoor which the table covered with very old look dirty dusty plastic table clothes. The servers were nice & welling to accommodate our request to set up the heater for us . The brunch food quality actually was decent, plats were preheated to keep food warm longer to eat outdoor . But the owners attitude seems to be rough and present us the menu with restrictions of can't order steak or seafood for the Groupon offer we bought unless we pay $9 extra . Not a smart business owner to do business to discourage customers to try, it would have been easily for him to run the promotion allow us to order any item from the menu then just simply deduct the Groupon value from the bill . Our brunch order came with toast with butter & fruit jams. They were delicious & we request to have an extra order , server didn't not it cost extra , but well inform us that it cost $10 for 2 pc toated bread with butter & jam ( they called French bread ?) , of course we didn't take it . Florentin omelet I order was delicious, the Denver crepe was just so so . Overall we believe they have a decent kitchen but if the owner doesn't make adjustments on his management, I personally afraid to comment that this restaurant might have an issue to attract new customers to go back again. Good luck to them.

I ordered a pizza online and by my mistake ordered it wrong. They remade my pizza for free even though it was my fault. Great customer service.

Gumbas reminds me of the many family run restaurants we visited in Italy. The decor, the service, and the food. The only thing missing being the challenge of finding the one waiter that could speak English.

Forget about going there for brunch. It's like they aren't even trying. Service was extremely slow, food arrived cold, getting refills of coffee or hot water took forever.

I was pleasantly surprised at Gumba’s. It’s a neighborhood Italian place with tasty food. The minestrone and clam chowder were surprisingly my excellent. ‘Home made’ per the waiter.Pizza was just the type I like with a thinner crust and slightly crispy. Garlic bread great.Chicken parm sandwich was a little too cheesy but delicious. Calzone spot on.

Friendly staff. I always get the steak sandwich and fries. Only gripe is the soda fountain...Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, root beer all taste the same.

The food is always on point every time we come here. The calzones are perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The garlic bread is especially delicious with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
