Kal's consistently delivers old-school meaty goodness. I'm going to guess that I have eaten lunch at Kal's for around 15 years. And always the same thing. Steak 40. A steak sandwich with fries. I've seen the Lockheed Martin engineers and their pocket protectors fade away over time, but the Kal's faithful remain. Served by the same Kal's team for who knows how long. I always enjoy the food here and I love the dated, old school vibe. Is Kal's the best in town? Probably not. Is it consistently satisfying food served up with love year after year. Absolutely. I relocated from the Bay Area over 5 years ago but I make it a point to return to Kal's at least once per year.

This place is great. The food is cooked to order right in front of you. The burgers are big. The place is nice and clean.
Kal's is great! I love this place. It's a beautiful 1950's time capsule breakfast and lunch diner. They've been here since 1958 and still look as fresh and spotless as if they just opened. Food is excellent and they have all the classics to get me started. A genuine "Mom and Pop" restaurant and a joy to hang out with friends and sip coffee, chat and relax. Outdoor seating too. Support this cool locally owned business.

All in all my experience was a bit over average. My only complaint was paying over $100.00 for 3 to eat. I had a great experience with ordering my omelet, granted it was $16.00 dollars. But my workmates were not happy with their burgers.
