Half of the food was really nice, but the rest of it looked and tasted poor.

Nice family restaurant. Their steak sandwich is a classic! My family also loves their omelets. They are still open, but check the current hours as they might have changed due to the pandemic.

I had lunch here today. The food was amazing(porkchop dinner & apple pie). Definitely recommend it!

Great Ribs BBQ Chicken, the BBQ sauce is just the way I like it, tangy sweet and sticky. Fast service and clean.

This place has great ribs for an outstanding price. I know it is steak place, but try their Fish and Chips. The best in town. Where else can you pick up a great New York Steak dinner for under $20. Their soup of the day is also done to perfection.

I pass this place all the time, so I figured I'd stop in to grab a bite on my way home. I wasn't in the mood for anything extremely heavy so I decided to go with the Bacon Cheese Burger & Strawberry Milkshake. I decided to have a couple sips of the milkshake on my way from the car to the house and almost immediately made a detour to the trash can. The first 3-5 sips just tasted like watered down milk. Luckily on sip 5/6 I started to suck up a strawberry, which gave me hope that there was some flavor hidden somewhere in the cup. So I shook the cup around a bit, and it got better, or at least tolerable. As for the burger, I was surprised to see it being served on a hoagie style roll, and that I had to do some digging to verify that there was some bacon underneath the sheets of iceberg lettuce. The burger itself was actually solid to my delight. And I appreciate that the cheese was actually melted. I would have however liked to see more than the 1.5 strips of bacon on the sandwich, and possibly barbecue sauce included standard (but that could just be me). The staff here is very friendly and accommodating, and I'm sure their dine-in service is spectacular. I may return in the future to verify, if I need a bite close to home.

Disappointing, I rarely splurge on dining out, and even more rarely want a steak. But tonight was the night. Unfortunately, this place was out of their "house cut" steak. I don't care for ribeye (the only other steak offered,) so I ordered baby back ribs. My dining companion did get the ribeye. It was quite thin and had more than the usual amount of gristle for this cut. Given how thin it was, it couldn't really be cooked medium, as the charring pretty much cooked it well done all the way through. And my baby back ribs, while pork, didn't seem to be true baby-backs, given the large size of the bones. With so-so at best BBQ sauce. My companion was able to tolerate them, so I got his sides as my dinner. All in all, not appalling, but not what I'd expect from a restaurant specializing in meat. For the $50+ for two (no dessert, and only one fountain drink between us) we would have been better off at Outback,

we had 'take out' from the longhorn char-pit....it has been over 14 months and we are glad to add this restaurant back into our rotation. friendly and charming staff/owners make this old style steak house a winner in my book. I have been coming here for 40 years or so.........too bad covid hit. But this place did not skimp out on the great food.....THANK YOU for a Great Saturday dinner..... both steaks were cooked perfect, paddy melt was the fantaztic and the bacon cheddar hamburger was the favorite. No Leftovers shows this steak house still has what it takes. 5-8-21 about 15.00 per person and if you eat in, the old western style interior has its charms.....round'em cowboy we are going to the 'longhorn restaurant ' in sunnyvale

This place is wonderful and the decor is so authentic of SV in the 1970's when I grew up there. I look forward to visiting each time I'm in the area. You can't go wrong with any of the grilled items. Just order at the counter and have a seat at the spacious booths, and you'll be transported back time! The owners here are very nice, too. Lots of long time staff as well. Overall, a great place and it shows. Many people have been coming back not just for years, but for decades. Highly recommended!

4 hours agoNEW So I took my son for a late lunch today and he ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and I ordered the BBQ combination consisting of a 1/4 piece of BBQ chicken, about 4 or 5 small baby back ribs and what I thought the waitress told me were grilled shrimp. It turns out that the shrimp consisted of some kind of frozen and then fried shrimp, 3 of them, with a small paper cup of cocktail sauce. I was able to eat those, no problem and they were exactly like something you would purchase in the frozen food section of a grocery store, none the less, I was starving, so I ate them. Next I tried the wing part of what appeared to be a BBQUED piece of chicken with the wing and breast attached. I took a bite of the chicken and it was Luke warm and tasted like it was cooked several days earlier and left on someone's counter for another 8 hours. It had no compelling flavors and was too old to have been served. Next I tried a piece of baby back rib. It also was barely Luke warm and had the consistency of mushy pork meat layer with gooey fat. Yuck! After realizing that I wouldn't be able to eat this, I walked up to the counter and asked an older man when the chicken and pork were made. He said Monday, and it was Saturday afternoon. I told him that was too old and should not be served. He started to get irate and told me I had eaten all of the two sides (coleslaw and a baked potato). I asked him how much that meal was and he got increasingly irate and said,"you're trying to get a free meal", and took out his phone and started acting like he was taking pictures of me. I told him I had no need to get a free meal and I was actually a chef and would accept a deduction for the BBQ plate. He got visibly angry and walked over to the booth and acted like he was taking pictures of the plates. I told him I was leaving and left. So rude and bizarre! I would definitely avoid this restaurant. Bad juju!
