The chicken taco I got was probably one of the tastier things I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely a must try if you’re in the area.

Good value. Giant and tasty burritos.

One of the best tacos in the South Bay. Please go out of your way to come this particular Lopez Taqueria location. The others are just not as good. The al pastor marinade was unique from other taco spots and had depth. The lengua tacos here are my favorite in the South Bay. It had a unique sauce it was stewed in and the texture is perfect. I like my lengua with a little chew and this was right up my alley. The chile verde was tender (and not the dry kind of tender). It was slow cooked and moist while the other location felt like it was boiled hard. Carnitas tasted good, it's standard, not the best I've ever had. Avoid the fish tacos - it's just bunch of dry fish sticks on a tortilla, not a big piece of juicy fish like most people expect. I like how they have chili oil on the tables. It adds a nice smokey touch. I wish they had orange sauce like the other taco spots in SJ (Spartans, La Vics, etc). The service here is extremely friendly. I come here pretty occasionally and the food is consistent. I'll definitely be back!

El servicio es bueno , el precio con relación a la porción es muy generosa y lo más importante considero que el sabor o sazón es muy aceptable

My food was drained in grease. Someone needs to fire the cook. Unacceptable, people put their trust in this businesses and this is what you get in return. Don't buy from this place.

First time here today in February 2024. Came around 1:40pm and ordered and had my food within just a few minutes. Lots of people coming in for pickups and I see why with their fast service. Really excited to have a great authentic Mexican food around the corner from my home. Great prices, large portions and excellent service of staff. This is my new go to spot for lunch and dinner.

3.75 California Asada Burrito (7.5/10) its really good but not something I’d crave like Cato Tacos (burrito) or Super Taqueria (burrito/nachos). You can taste the smoky charr. Need to try the asada fries

We went here for breakfast and got Carnitas and Huevos Con Chorizo. Both dishes were delicious. We were surprised to see the giant tortillas on the side but we were not complaining :)The refried beans however had an odd texture that we didn't want to eat.The staff was very polite and friendly. We forgot to add coffee to our order and so when we went to place a separate order for coffee, we were not charged for it. This was very kind of them. The coffee we got was hot water with instant coffee mix and creamers on the side. This is a good place for a quick, tasty bite.

You know the food is good when you eat it for the first time and show up the day after for more. My family has been going to this taqueria since it has opened and have been raving about it. I'm sad it took me this long to cave in and try it. I ordered a Chicken Super Burrito which consisted of shredded, juicy white meat chicken, fluffy rice, pinto beans, fresh avocado, and all of the other "super" ingredients! This burrito was packed with so much flavor and I think it mainly has to do with the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The ratio from meat to rice is all well balanced. I can't seem to say anything negative here. My brother also loves their seafood tacos and burritos. The customer service has been fantastic. The lady up at the front is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. The restaurant itself is super clean. The tables are constantly being wiped down, drinks are organized in the fridge. I think I've found my favorite taqueria in Sunnyvale. *Squeals*

Lopez Taqueria in Sunnyvale next to Popeye’s opened recently. It is a small restaurant with 10 tables indoors and none outdoors. When I was there for noon lunch, 3 tables had customers but they had a lot of takeout business. The problem was the temperature inside was very cold. Outdoors was 52F. Indoors must have been about 65F so the other customers were eating with their winter coats on. The problem is that cold air cools off hot food. I urge the Lopez owner or manager to require that the temperature be set to 70 or 71 or 72 degrees whenever the place is open so the food stays hot and customers can take off their coats.I ordered two tacos, rice, and water. The tacos were tasty. The rice was plain, as is expected. The meal included a small amount of chips and salsa. The salsa was different than most restaurants but I preferred it, although the portion was too tiny.Customers order at the front cashier and the food is brought to one’s table. The cashier was cordial. I like that the electronic menu is brightly lit and easy to read. There is plenty of free street level parking in the outdoor strip mall in front of the restaurant. If I knew that the restaurant would be warm inside, I would return and try the very large beef soup, which the cashier said was their best soup and cost about $20, I think.

Service was fine but food was not that good. We had the flautas and they were dry and not flavorful. The fish tacos were alright. Overall would not recommend.
