~Delivery~ I was teeter-tottering from a 3 and 4 star. But because of the world that we are in right now, I'll be lenient with my rating. I've ordered from Luv Pho on DoorDash many times. Especially the height of the pandemic. From time to time there will be a 20% off up to $5 promo. And that usually entices me. It is so HARD to find Cha Lua Banh Mi in my area. All the great ones are usually in East Side or East Bay to get even a decent one. And don't even get me started on Lee's sandwich shops around here, they're so commercialized and corporate, it's nothing like a traditional banh mi. But with Luv Pho, they really make a great Cha Banh Mi! They have it in Mini or Regular size. Though they have a third option for a combo, I have no clue what it is. I actually was going to order it to see what comes in the combo but unfortunately, Google says they are temp. closed. As well I tried calling after Doordash said they canceled my order twice in a row and no one picked up. That is unfortunate. I hope they reopen up soon. But it could explain the last couple of times I ordered from here, the condiments and quality of my last two banh mi's were not up to par. In the very last order, the cilantro was old and not cleaned. And the time before that I found a hair. Maybe this was signs to come that they had some issues with the slowing down the restaurant and quality of food? Their bo pho combination is very good and super hefty. I love their packaging, it is well thought out and tightly packed so there would be no problems. I guess they also have bean sprouts pre-pack, I always say no bean sprouts yet I always get them. I hate wasting food but I understand because the sauces and lime and basil are in the same package. The broth sometimes is a hit or miss on how hot it is to cook the rare steak. But that's always difficult if your door dasher is picking up other orders, and not just yours. So I can't really fault the restaurant for that. Their Vermecilli grilled pork is also really good. The pork is grilled perfectly and there seems to be a good amount of meat for what you pay for. I highly recommend it! I look forward to Luv Pho to reopening. I was quite sad when my order was canceled today and found out that they had to close for a while.

Came 3pm on a weekday. Not a busy time. As others said this pho broth is lacking in flavor. The meat quality is average, maybe somehow lower quality as its so chewy. Usually the tripe is the chewy part but all meat in the bowl was. I ordered their #6 bowl. For some reason they topped a small mound of onions as a garnish? Like to me it was a lot! Also the meat was cut oddly like they didn't have a good knife and clumpy? Food will fill you up if you're really hungry as service was also quick and friendly. Forgot to mention came with a very generous amount of noodles! This place is also quite clean. Due to pandemic most utensils and things in general are throwaway plastic which i hope they can shift to compost-able if they eventually can afford it. The main pet peeve I had was the spoon was a typical picnic disposable spoon and so not the typical pho soup spoon. Didn't matter since the broth is lacking. Again, service was great in my experience. Food. Meh.

I ate here on my birthday, Aug 27, 2021. My first time. I met the owner casually. I liked the Chicken Pho. I love the garlic on top of the soup. I finished the soup which I wouldn't normally do. There is more than enough serving for me. Priced competitively from other Pho places I tried. My wife loved the Beef Pho. She said it is very tasty. Place must be newly renovated. There is outside seating. Social distancing practiced. Next time I would try the over rice dish. Kinda like the Filipino Breakfast Silog except it doesn't have the fried egg over rice. But their presentation is awesome, with the lettuce, cucumber and pickled side dish. I will certainly come back and recommend. Plenty of parking. Next to 24-Hr Fitness in Lawrence Expwy and 101 in Sunnyvale.

Excellent lunch, huge pho bowl. Nice people that run it. Lots of options, I'll have to come back and try another dish.

Today I had a delicious lunch at Luv Pho, one of the best tasting foods I’ve had in a long time. I’m definitely going back for seconds. One of my new favorite go to spots.

I came here with my Vietnamese fried and he ordered for us. The pho was not bad. My friend ordered this some kind a oil with onions and jalapeno, you add it to your pho and it will make it taste better. I was like, damn. I've been eating pho for a while I was not given that choice. Lol. The customer service was good and the pho was not bad.

Ive tried this place a couple of times since it is close to my work. Parking is manageable at lunchtime. The first time I came here, I thought it was mediocre, but I think it may be because I came around 11:30 (before the lunch rush) and I think the pho broth wasn't as ready yet and it was plain/not as flavorful. My second time here was a lot more positive. I got the small/regular Pho Tai and my initial reaction was that the beef was actually thick and tender. I appreciate better cuts of meat, and the noodle to broth ratio was pretty balanced. The broth came full of pepper, which helped make enhance the soup broth. Prices are $1-2 more expensive than other places in the area, but I don't mind supporting restaurants that feed the local businesses especially when they use quality ingredients and have fast and efficient service. As long as this quality doesn't deteriorate, I don't mind this place.

Just don't. I don't like writing a bad review but this place force me too. The location is quite strategic, it's very close to a lot of offices. And this place probably know how to get money by charging them $14 for a bowl of pho. It's the most expensive pho in sunnyvale, probably in the world. My apology if im being dramatic with my review, but they are also being dramatic with the pho price. Their taste are inconsistent. The soup often smells weird. But what I don't get is why do people come here. You can drive a little bit to milpitas and get a way better pho for only $7. But what funny is I found all the food in this plaza is too pricy for its tase. The next door thai restaurant is no hope as well. Subway is probably the most reasonable food in this plaza. Go save yourself a lunch, stay out of this area and go to st johns instead.

The shaking beef here is good. Pho ? is ok. The small size is more than enough. Service was good.

Crazy expensive restaurant for what it offers 14$ for a bowl of boiled noodles with a tiny amount of meat? 9$ spring rolls stuffed with lot and lots of noodles?? It is very simple, just walk to any of the other places around that place that are far better (not the bagel joint though)

Vajram Ghantasala
