The service and staff are so friendly and very attentive but the salmon taco…already want another! Delicious! At night, I wish they dimmed the lights to give it a little more ambiance and date vibes but would return in a heartbeat!

The food was delicious. It's nice that you can order several smaller items as an entree so that you get to try many different things. The service was also great, they were very nice and attentive.

shing and a little tart! I also got the crispy plantain taco which was amazing! As someone who just came back from Panama this was on par with the plantains out there! The crispness and saltiness from the taco paired with the sweetness of the cranberries and plantain was just perfect! The only problem was that it was a little bit dry so if there was a sauce to go with it?! The elote were really cool with an amazing shape almost curled up like ribs! They were tasty and had crema and tajin on them! However for their price I would have wanted a little more! I also got the churrasco steak! The steak itself was well cooked and flavorful with a little bit of tomato sauce! The charred vegetables were also amazing! Overall it was really an authentic dish with even the rice being unique with a completely different taste than normal! However I also wished they had some kind of sauce to go with the dish which would have made it just supreme! We ended off with a churro which was warm and gooey with a vanilla center which I loved! Overall the food here is authentic and unique, but it is on the pricier end. However for the amazing service and ambiance paired with the good food I would definitely give this place a try!

Food was excellent sitting lunch. Love the unique dishes. They have both meat and vegan dishes so happy for everyone. The best was the cochinita pibil. A pibil is apparentlya style of cooking. Kind of tastes and texture of a stew but i don’t think it’s cooked like a stew. They also have a chicken pibil.Elote, Yucatán fries, and fried plantains were awesome appetizers.I’d like to come back with a larger patty so we can share and try even more things. They are a little on the pricey side though.

Delicious food and drinks. They have so many vegan options it’s so refreshing to see! Definitely try the beetroot kibis, empanadas, and vegan bao. The staff is attentive and the service is fast in this relaxing but sophisticated restaurant.

Came here on a Thursday night with a reservation and was seated immediately!Good:- Got a free churro with the yelp check-in and that churro was so good! It was stuffed with some cream and that was tasty.- The corn rib appetizer was such a unique dish - I don't think I've had something like it before, but it was surprisingly flavorful and the butter added a lot.- The pork entree was really good - it came with a blue corn tortilla that I liked as well and was a huge portion size, it ended up being 2 meals for me!- The horchata here was huge and refreshing!- The place is really cute, it's a homey vibe, the staff are all extremely kind.Bad:- The wait time is a little long!Overall, this was a great experience in downtown Sunnyvale! Wouldn't have expected to enjoy it as much as I did.

The only thing wrong with Mayan Kitchen Food is that everything on the menu looks so good that you'll want to order more than you need! I had a wonderful lunch here today. I especially enjoyed the Potato Croquettes, the Salmon Taco and the Eggplant Rolls. It's so refreshing to find a fantastic Mexican restaurant that serves something different from what one usually gets. The service was quick and friendly. The prices add up, so be prepared for a big bill.
