I love metro city and the staff here!! My fiancé and I have been coming for breakfast & lunch and each visit is always just as delicious and amazing! We just had our engagement party here over the weekend and to no surprise, the FOOD, EXPERIENCE, STAFF, and RESTAURANT was amazing, clean, delicious, attentive, and made the whole experience one to remember! Thank you so much for allowing me and my fiancés family and friends to celebrate this huge milestone and for making the event truly a memorable experience!

A gem in an unassuming strip mall that is a great place for families and events. Been coming here since the pandemic and have never been disappointed. The owners are nice and care a lot - great service and they not only care about the restaurant, but the surrounding community as well. Loooove the garlic fries but all the food is tasty

I'm going to start with I've been a server for a long time, and I understand that sometimes restaurants are busy or short staffed. However, when we were sat we had to wait about 15 minutes to be acknowledged, and were only acknowledged by a sweet older bus lady. She got us all water, and called a waiter to take our order. Our waiter Rick was very nice he took our order. We waited over 40 minutes and my husband went up to one of the female servers and was immediately met with an attitude. We just wanted to know the status of our order since we had already been waiting for so long. The lady immediately began by saying "DIDN'T YOUR WAITER TELL YOU THERE WAS GOING TO BE A WAIT?" I was shocked by her reaction since I don't think we were being rude by just asking about our food's status. She claimed one of our plates was already up, so I asked her if she could please bring it. (I wouldn't want their food to sit there just because the other food wasn't ready yet.) She rolled her eyes and walked away that was honestly the last straw. We left, and don't plan on coming back o this place.

Metro City Duane was great for my daughters Sweet 15/Quincañera. I definitely recommend it for your next event. Why? Well keep reading! They close down the restaurant for your party on the weekends. However, keep note that they do open prior, so for example, our party started at 4 pm, so we asked to start decorating at 2 pm so they close before that. We arrived about 1:45ish, and there were still people eating, but we were able to start bringing stuff down from our car, and we started deco at 2 pm, no problem. We moved tables around how we wanted and put up decorations. They do have a bar, and you can choose to have a cash or prepaid bar. We opted for a cash bar, and it was great. Drinks were great tasting and well priced! We also opted for unlimited sodas, which was great for the kids & teens, and they also put out water & lemonade in beverage dispensers, which was great for after all the dancing. Now for food! They do a counter buffet style for 100 people that's included in the price. I would say that if your group eats a lot, I would ask for extra servings or if you're expecting people to come later. We had a few food options to pick from, including from their everyday menu to Mexican food or a mix and match. You ask they can make it happen. We had salad, fruit, chicken Parm, pasta alfredo, sliders, chicken n waffle sliders, fries & garlic bread. The food was amazing, and everyone LOVED it. The flavors of everything were great. Food wasn't dry even though it was a buffet, which is a huge plus, It was liked so much that people got 3rd & 4th servings, and I'm not kidding that's how yummy it was lol. Food is served throughout the night, so what we did was once food was out, it was out. Usually, at venues, they only have food out for 2 hrs, and that's it, so I think that's a really good deal when you book here.The inside of the venue is great! You got the wood rustic walls but with the modern spin and the aluminum walls with stone. The tables are wood and metal chairs, so we really didn't need too many decorations, just some runners, flowers, Alice themed centerpieces, and mad hatter vintage hats to get the feel we wanted. There is a stage for a Dj, and we even had a photo booth from Queen Bee Photography and we still had enough room for all our guests, and all the dances that were performed and dancing with family & friends! Julie & her husband Alex were amazing to work with, Alex is actually the chef there, and the bartender Bri was amazing too and super funny & friendly. They really did make my princesses day amazing, and for that, they get a 10/10. Metro City Duane is hands down the venue to book. It's a hidden gem, and we really need to get the word out because the service, food & atmosphere are top-notch. Holidays are coming up. Special milestone events are always happening, so don't snooze and book with them today!! You won't be disappointed.

Last time I was there they brought over one of the large connect four from the bar for my son to play with while we finished our brunch. They are all amazing. Hey there Party PeopleWas wandering the streets of Sunnyvale looking for a cool place to eat and chill. We found exactly that at Metro City. They have great happy hour deals with drinks specials and $3 off all appetizers. Tons of outdoor seating all nicely shaded for those hot days to comeWe had a host of appetizers and dinner see ratings below from 0 to 5 with 5 being great.Mozzarella Sticks= 2...they were very basic Garlic Fries=5...tons of garlic no vampires will come near you for a week. Big portion size.Onion rings=4....the batter was not to thick or greasy and cooked golden brown.Loco Moco= 5...the combination of flavors with the gravy getting that extra richness from the egg yolk all on top of a generous meat patty with a bed of rice below. I have to say that the meat patty was nice and lean with a very subtle char adding even more flavor.Gyro pita Sandwich=3 1/2.....good size and fresh and light with lots of greens. Side salad= 3 1/2...big portion size for a side salad and their Blue Cheese Dressing was super thick and had a ton of Blue Cheese chunks.I look forward to heading back there to try even more great food.Be kind to one another

Came here for Brunch and although I was seated right away and the service was good, the food was poor. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and for the price was disappointed that it was 100% imitation crab. I would recommend they update their menu description to not deceive their customers. Would not recommend the crab cake Benedict, maybe other breakfast items are okay.
