Absolutely loved it. We had the little little in the middle aka chef’s tasting menu. Everything was delicious from appetizers to desserts.

Meyhouse doesn't disappoint. Great, authentic Turkish food, friendly service, creative cocktails. On the pricier side, but well worth it. I'll be back.

First I want to say Meyhouse deserves more visibility for its great food and service! I still remember my first dining experience here, the bread is so so delicious!! All the dishes we ordered are full of favor!! I used to like DishDash, but meyhouse is way better in term of the food quality! The service here is also very impressive! people are friendly and happy here! I haven't tried their Palo Alto location yet, I bet it would be a good one since it was run in the same owner.

A very nice restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale. Located in the pedestrian only street, with parking nearby. Very friendly and professional service, and a great ambiance. The selection for vegetarian main courses is limited, however, only eggplant dishes. Nevertheless, a very good choice to dine in Sunnyvale.

I'm usually a big fan of Meyhouse which is why I booked the Valentine's day special with my girlfriend there. The dinner was $130 per person, $45 for one drink package, and $60 in tips which sums up to $360 overall. You could pick two appetizers, two salads, four entrees, two desserts, and two drinks. Counting each item, including appetizers and drinks, the average item was $30.We picked- the two fish based appetizers. (mainly greens, very like fish)- each salad (simple salads)- the lobster tail pasta (3/5, great tiny piece of lobster with a decent amount of pasta but the seafood taste of the pasta was too strong for us)- oxtail with eggplant (5/5 but very small)- bonfile iskender (5/5)- and the lamb chops (5/5)- each dessertIn summary, the salads and appetizers felt too basic, we did not like the pasta, and the other entrees were solid.Take a look at the picture to see just how small the individual plates were. The small plates make them already bigger than they were so take the size of the forks for reference. For $360, we were underwhelmed by the food. However, the planning and service were even more underwhelming. We were handed two menus without explanation and missing the drink menu initially. We were then asked to order everything at once because the wait staff and kitchen were extremely busy. We didn't get anything for about 30 minutes, then the salad out of order, and with afterwards, everything else at once. It didn't even fit on the very small table we had and they added another. Since everything got to us at the same time, some items were cold by the time we got to them and possibly was already cold when it got to the table. Maybe still better than some other tables that night that didn't get some of their mains by the time we were done. It's just not a good experience to get there and be told that everything will be busy and rushed. They took the reservations, therefore, could have prepared for it or made fewer.Overall, I'm rating the experience a 2/5 based on the food and service for $360 within two hours. While this may seem harsh, it is in line with other OpenTable reviews for that day where the Valentine's dinner could be booked.I will happily return on normal days but not on days with a special like that.

This relative new restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown is a gem! With its modern interior and welcoming staff, it stands out among others in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there. The freshly made flatbread had a perfect crispiness outside and a fluffy texture inside, paired wonderfully with sesame seeds. The Yaprak Ciğer offers a delightful experience with its thinly sliced lamb liver, delicately poached in butter, boasting a tender texture and chewiness. Paired with red onions, it provides a refreshing contrast, perfect for balancing richness. The Yoğurtlu, an upscale version of Iskender kebap, was a highlight with grilled Angus tenderloin and meatballs on a bed of tomato-sauced flatbread, creating a delightful layering of flavorsThe Yoğurtlu, described on the menu as an elevated take on Iskender kebap. I love the concept of combining grilled Angus tenderloin and meatballs in one dish, both of which are personal favorites of mine. The flatbread base soaked in tomato sauce adds depth and layers of flavor to the entire dish, making it truly exceptional. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked.Recommended; I'll definitely be returning.

Our family’s go-to place for celebrations with friends or just us two. Plenty of seatings indoor and outdoor. Easy to get into, unlike the Palo Alto location. Each time, we try a new meze and our favorites (artichokes + fava, atom, manti) and then choose among the Adana kebab, grilled fish, or some grilled steak cut into large cubes. Finally we always make room for the kunefe + Turkish tea at the end. Staff are Turkish so sometimes things get lost in translation…yet makes up for in an authentic experience. The food is always top notch. Their Turkish wines suit us too. Go and enjoy!
