First time down in Sunnyvale in quite some time, and I am really glad I stopped in for a visit this weekend. The place has a very pleasant wooden interior, with quite a bit of seating so it is good for groups.Asahi on draft, and I loved the fry on the coconut shrimp. If you like takowasa, make sure you try that too (it was delicious).Will come back the next time I am in the area!

I will start out by disclaimering that I don't like ramen that much. Fortunantly..I do consider this a fine establishment. Today I enjoyed the garlic bowl. All the meats, accompanying item were excellent. The broth was nice and rich. Small warning to those salt sensitive. To me it was good, and revived me. I had a job afterwards. Else I would have tried the drinks.I really enjoyed the experience for this small shop. Everything was in order. Nothing out of place.

Mediocre ramen. I'm surprised this survived the pandemic. Noodles are store-bought. The broth is watered down. This establishment is "Chinese owned" not Japanese-owned which explains why it tastes like pure MSG. You're better off going to Ramen Seas, or other ramen spots in Sunnyvale. Don't even get me started on the rude service.

Excellent food, service and ambience.Ordered the Myzen Ramen with 5 piece extra chaser, and spicy.It was heavenly.Not crowded. Prompt service.
No wait to be seated. The wait staff was prompt. Food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was tasty. There was enough of a selection on the menu that everyone in our group was able to find something that they liked. The atmosphere was generic. The process to order and get food was fast and mechanical. We had questions about items on the menu, and responses were terse. We sat ordered and received food and ate in less than 40 minutes. This place would be great if you had a hard stop for lunch.
I've been to Myzen since it opened a few years ago and liked their ramen. I'm so disappointed with my recent delivery order. The curry katsu was full of fat. The ramen soup has an ammonia smell, although it's hard to notice( I already had half of the ramen then smelled it). I know that's a smell when something is stale in there. I'm concerned about my health after eating the ramen.

Lunch service on 6/3/23.A roach crawled on the table toward my daughter's food. She freaked out, then it ran away and hid in the caddy with the salt and sauces. We told the server, she took away the caddy, but didn't apologize. I didn't demand to be comped the meal but the gesture probably would have been appreciated. Lost our appetite.

I've sequentially tried the ramen shops in the area and I always come back here. I think this is a family business and it shows. It is very clean, the atmosphere is relaxing and low key. The people are very nice and service is perfect. The food is great and if there's any msg, I haven't noticed it. This is a home cooked meal away from home for me. I love it!My goto's: Amazing Wasabi Shrimp and Shoyu Ramen.
