The pupusas were pretty average & it costs more than other pupuserias. Ive had better in other places. The masa was kind of dry that day I purchased and the zucchini and cheese lacked some flavor, but the reubuelta one I had was the best tasting in my order that day

I've never had pupusas before, but I really wanted to try it. I happened to come across this food truck outside of Santa Clara Valley Hospital, so I got the 2 pupusa plate for$10. I got a Bean and Cheese Pupusa, and a Carne Asada Pupusa. It came with Curtido, which is pickled veggies, and I got the spicy salsa. The bean and Cheese pupusa was good, but it didn't have much filling, and it was mostly beans with a tiny bit of beans. Most of the flavor came from the curtido and salsa. I don't know how the Carne Asada with cheese pupusa is like because they ended up giving me 2 bean and cheese pupusas, and I wasn't near the truck when I found out. The food was hot and they make it to order so it's fresh, but I don't think I'd try them again.

The pupusas are very expensive and have no flavor ?

My colleague was so excited about papusa. So i decided to give it a try but i was so disappointed. The papusa is very soggy, no taste and very dry.

They cook and give what they have at hand rather than what you actually ordered. Bad attitude to boost.

Been driving past this food truck many times as we like getting Kona Island Coffee in the same parking lot around the corner and noticed this place always has people there. SO decided to give them a try and I'm SO GLAD we did!!! Got the 2 Pupusa plate - the Chicharron and Polo Con Queso. HIGHLY recommend especially with the pickled cabbage and we added the mild salsa! It was SO GOOD... not as stuffed as I'm used to but still had tons of flavor!! Our FAVORITE is the enchilada pollo combo! OMG - SO good! Keep in mind this is a Salvadoran enchilada - not your mexican type enchilada that sits on a masa disk. It was cruncy, meaty, with so much flavor - again - adding the cruncy cabbage and the salsa - a flavor and texture bomb. AND their rice and beans had lots of flavor as well - beans - so creamy and deep flavor - rice so fluffy and light! We also decided to try their pasteles asada - which are like little fried empanadas! Crispy, crunchy and lots of meat!! So good... And of course our all time favorite which it's only available at Salvadorian places - their plantanos con frijol y creama - which is the plantanos with creamy beans and their creama... The most DELICIOUS bite!! This is our family all time favorite and I'm so happy they have it and they are so close by!! Will definitely be coming back and trying other meats and dishes. Want to try their plantano empanada - more sweet than savory!! :) OH and service - the guy taking our order was so patient - explaining all the dishes - and it was all packed up nicely and he repeats the order when he hands it to you so you feel confident you're getting everything!!

This place has good reviews, so I decided to try because I love papusas! I must have gone on an off day, because the papusas here were really bad. Not only were they small, they were dry, very little filling, and tasteless. I ordered one with beans and cheese, there wasn't any cheese oozing out, nor did it have much cheese. Couldn't even taste any cheese, or the beans for that matter. Also ordered the pork and cheese, again no gooey cheese, nor could I taste any pork. Blech! Just small disks of tasteless nothingness. If you want a good papusa, go to Karlita's in Redwood City on Woodside Rd. They have awesome papusas!!

Wanted papusa, and this place was close. It's a food truck, but there are a couple of tables and chairs so you eat here or get your food to go. The people were friendly and polite. The food was ready pretty quickly, and IMHO was very good. 2 papusas for $10. But if you're hungry, they have a plate with rice, beans, and 3 papusas for $15.

We ordered a plate of pupusas with both pork and carne asada. We got them both with spicy sauce which I recommend because it has some stang to it. It was a good truck located inside of a shopping center across from Fremont High school. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of the pupusas itself because it reminds me of a quesadilla just more doughy. I'd order this again for sure!

Great food! Love the loroco and the enchiladas. Will visit again.Ordered and paid online, had some unauthorized apple charges on my card pop up starting this day (I don't use apple). Eventually got resolved with my bank. It could be a coincidence but next time I won't be ordering/paying through an app.If you are the owners, I recommend switching ordering apps.

I tried the steak and chicken pasteles (empanada-like snacks) and it was pretty good. The shells tasted just like the corn tortillas typically used to wrap enchiladas, and the meat inside both was juicy with good flavor, not too outstanding, but not bland. And it went perfectly with the same fresh and delicious salsa and curtido that comes with the pupusas. The staff provided standard service and my order took no more than 10 minutes to be ready. They have covered outdoor seating, but I took my order to go and it was packed nicely, hot and ready to eat. Parking was easy as there's 2-3 food trucks in this plaza that share a lot with other businesses, and Pupusa Time is right next to the Alliance gas station. I'd return, but next time I'm trying the pupusas!

Very authentic El Salvadoran food, freshly prepared and served from a food truck.Papusas are small ( barely 5") but tasty and fresh.Empanadas are also small but worth a try for the price. Comes with some pickled salad and a special spicy dip.

I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but the food was really disappointing. the masa of the pupusas was rubbery and dry, almost undercooked. the cortido came in really small portions, and was more pickled than fresh :/ but that might just be my preference. the horchata was also watered down
