The plant based chicken strips are so good. We really likes the tacos especially. The plant based chicken sandwich was ok but probably won't order it again. The patty is thick and seems to have more of a spongey texture than the strips. The sauce offerings are full of unique flavor and spice levels. Salads have been fresh each time we've ordered them.

First time trying Starbird Chicken and overall I thought it was pretty good for fast food style fried chicken. This location is in Sunnyvale, and I believe this is the current closest location to me. I'm in the East Bay, and we currently do not have a Starbird. Honestly, the price is on the high side for fast food fried chicken, but with inflation these days and the costs of meats and poultry, it's totally understandable the high pricing. We ordered the Classic Buffalo & Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings and 3 Sweet Thai Tender Box and everything was very good. Freshly made to order and very tasty! The customer service was pretty decent as well, they were tentative to your needs whenever you asked them for anything, they were happy to provide them. The restaurant and parking lot is quite small, so it does get crowded from time to times, but I would recommend giving this place a try for sure!

Totally messed up my order - can't eat mine bc my stomach can't handle the spicy food. Paid over 35 bucks for me and my girlfriend. Wasn't even busy only like 2 other people in the store. Also my girlfriend, who likes and can eat spicy food, said the Nashville chicken was not great anyways. Overrated, bad service, and won't come back

When I searched fried chicken sandwich, starbird chicken is on the top of the list. I always wanna to try it. Finally, I decided to try it on a Saturday afternoon. Yay! The first thing I saw: the parking lot was packed! This is definitely a good sign. I was excited to try their food even more. I ordered the chicken salad to go. I saw they also have order machine in the front section. I waited 20 mins to get my salad. I was getting impatient to wait my order that long. It's just a salad. Then I got my food. Went back home. I too a bite of the chicken..... my cousin saw me eating and asked me : how's your food? I told her: "not good. " The crust dough is way too thick. The chicken was not marinated well. The salad has no flavor. I could give lower star. But I will give 4 star this time. Please improve your recipe.

This location is nice but has a pretty tiny parking lot. Other than that both the inside and outside seating is kept very clean and sanitary. Staff are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I love the easy to order from kiosks and quick service. Daughters sandwich was consistent with the other two locations but my salad had a lot less lettuce than the salads I've had from the other two locations. Definitely still a solid restaurant for me

Surprisingly good stuff! About $35 for dinner for 2 adults, 2 toddlers. We got DoorDash delivery on a Sunday evening in May. Delivery window started at 6:35pm, our dinner arrived by 6:25pm. * Nashville/Szechuan Hotbird Taco ($4.97) - 4 stars I only tried a bite, but my partner liked both of these! * Chicken Katsu ($13.77) - 4 stars Good, surprisingly not too heavy. * Lil' Tender Box - 3.5 stars (no photo) Kept kids satisfied. Fries a little on the soft side if that's what you like.

I got the classic 4 piece tenders. Only eat 3. Flavor of the skin is good. The white meat is moist. However!! One of the tender around the meat had way too much muscles. So, I quickly lost my appetite. Upon placing the order, we waited about good 15 minutes for the order which wasn't too bad. Their tenders are Priced on the pricy side. 4 piece tenders was $12.77 but it does come with large size fries which are good but very oily and very small portion of coleslaw. Very pricy. Sauces I got was Spicy Seoul Sauce and Star Sauce. Apparently, Spicy Seoul Sauce is suppose to be Korean Gochujang but it's not even close. Their take on Korean Gochujang is horrendously bad and it tastes bad. However, I enjoyed their Star sauce and also the classic ketchup. Chicken Chop Salad at $11.77 with no sides - was fairly priced since they give decent amount of grilled chicken. All their lids has a opening that cannot be closed. I think it's due to no straw bs. Since the opening of the lid cannot be closed - I spilled 20% of my drink during my drive back home. They have a small parking lot in front and on a Sunday around 7pm - lot was full. Will probably not return for their tenders but will probably return for their Chop Salad. That's it.

Very tasty chicken in either sandwiches or boxes. I had the ranch chicken sandwich - very nice with a hit of heat from the pimento cheese. My husband and son are coeliac and appreciated the fact that the batter on the chicken is gluten free - they really enjoyed the box meals. A small restaurant with limited parking. Very clean and bright. Highly recommended if you like chicken - especially so if you need gluten free.

This review is solely for the Chicken Katsu salad. I have never tried Starbird before but I have heard about it. I know they are well known for the fried chicken sandwiches, but while I was looking through the menu, their SALADS caught my eye. I particularly liked the looks of their Chicken Katsu salad, so I ordered through the kiosk and it was ready under 5 minutes. They have a nice outdoor seating area, so I took my tray outside. First off, the portion for this salad was HUGE. I was very surprised! Lots of fresh veggies and nicely chopped fried chicken. Let me start with the veggies: fresh lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, edamame, green onions, and red pickled daikon. All these ingredients make for the PERFECT Asian style salad. I particularly liked the tangy crunch from the red pickled daikon and the refreshing crisp from the cucumbers. The Creamy Ginger dressing was DELISH. It was slightly sweet and very creamy. The wonton strips added that extra crunch that I LOVE. Now the star of the dish: the chicken. It was PERFECTLY fried. It was crispy, the batter was flavorful, the chicken itself was juicy, I could go on and on. It went PERFECTLY with the salad and the dressing. And the katsu sauce drizzled on the chicken gave it that extra pop of flavor. If this is what their chicken is like for all their other dishes, I am very excited to try them! This might be my new addiction. I was so impressed with this salad. I'll try their other menu options, but I will for sure be coming back for this.

I can see why Starbird is well loved, but the sandwiches were too small to justify the price for me. Starbird: The chicken was flavorful, but the kale slaw wasn't - it just had a slight sesame flavor. Nashville Hotbird: The Greek Yogurt Ranch and pickles were slightly tart, but the chicken wasn't that flavorful. Lemonade: So yummy - perfect balance between tart and sweet.

After a long day of moving into the area, was craving a good hearty meal and this definitely delivered! We got the following things: -Chicken Chop salad -Cali Bacon Dutch Crunch with avocado -California roll taco -Nashville hot bird taco -Nashville hot fries The tacos were interesting and glad we tried them but not the favorite. I loved the chicken chop salad and would absolutely get it again. The sandwich was hard to eat and really fell apart. The fries were good but also a lot with everything else so would probably prefer just plain fries next time! Unfortunately, we didn't get the sauces we ordered or the drink we ordered so docking a star for that since we definitely still paid for those!

I've been going here for years and my go-to is the chicken chop. I would have easily given Starbird a 4 star review. Unfortunately, they've lost my trust and business after tonight's delivery. I ordered my usual and what they gave me was this old, brown, diarrhea looking avocado that could have easily made me sick had I ate it. I don't understand how they could see that their food looked like this and still decide it was ok to serve it and package it up for a customer to consume. I immediately contacted DoorDash customer service to complain. This is the first time I've ever had to contact support due to poor quality of the food that was delivered. Luckily, they gave me a full refund on my entire order and not just the salad (I ordered a sandwich for my dad too), so that was kind of DoorDash. I wanted to make sure that Starbird gets this review of the slop they served me. If you read the one star reviews, you'll see this is not a one-off occurrence of this Starbird location. I've never had any issues at the Starbird near Brokaw. UPDATE: I ate around the avocado and I did end up getting sick from the food.

One of my biggest weaknesses is fried food, and chicken tenders and fried chicken are at the top of that list, but I try hard to keep it healthy. I gave in to my cravings for a weekend lunch... - Green Goddess Cobb: the avocado mash holds up the flavor of the chicken much better than plain avocado. Similarly, the pickled onions added a nice extra dimension to the salad. The chicken breast itself was great - nicely battered with just the right amount of pepper, super crisp outside. This was a great salad. - Starbird Sandwich: simple and classic, with slaw, avocado, mayo Their chicken did not disappoint! If it weren't for my trying to be healthy, I would be eating this a lot more.
