I've heard about the Don's Deli from my old pal Stinky Wedemeyer, and since I'm in Sunnyvale with my pal Thelonious Grumpsteller helping him out with issues he's got with his neighbor's Honey Badger tearing up his Pinkalilly patch, I'll be going there for sure. Well, it's a first for me having to deal with a Honey Badger, they're nasty little creatures, and almost as mean as Ol Mable Spinticket, so I'll just do the same to it as I did to Mabel...I put a handful of chopped up Ghost Peppers in it mouth. He won't be back, that's for sure.Man-O-Man, that Don's Deli sure makes a great sandwich, it was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

All the sandwiches are great! Good quantity and quality at a good price. Great options for vegetarians and vegans too. Almost any sandwich can be made vegetarian. Try the Don’s fire sauce and the tomato basil bisque! The place has had some recent challenges with staffing but Sandra (who runs the place) is great with her customers and has really gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.Dietary restrictions: Highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans.
I'm annoyed that I wake up and am going on my way to school, stop at this place, see their glowing sign that says open, and then proceed to walk in, and immediately am told *were closed " I just kinda felt lied to when I needed a meatball sub the most >:(

Scam portions. Food is good, staff is 5 star but they put their salads in a 3- compartment container so you get way less than it looks like you're getting. ( compartments are small with big gaps between)Not a fan of deception.They also add really spicy stuff to salads that should not have any Spicy ingredients and don't mention spicy in the description so you have to remove the spicy ingredients, which is super annoying.

Great food and great service. Centra was a great employee, that did a superb job in making my sandwich. She even stayed loyal to the restaurant by letting everyone know this is the best place to get a sandwich in town, I doubted her and I stand corrected best place to get a sandwich and I would recommended everyone including my friends to come down here.

Had The Slammer on Dutch bread. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh veggies, pastrami, roast beef, salami and cheddar. To die for!

Great value, speed, quality ingredients. As an interloper just down here from The City for work, I was amazed I could get such a sandwich, (with drink/chips) for $10 or so...Unfortunately amid a strip mall of sorts near the Caltrain Station. In point of fact, it seems as though the entire South bay/San Jose area was laid out by a former successful strip-club developer who decided to apply his business model to city-planning as well:)
