Food was good, employee was very friendly but restaurant looked closed down and payment machine did not work so owner took my credit card information and wrote it in a notes app. This is not an issue with my credit card rather with the store’s payment terminal (see other reviews).

The store has not been able to take card payments the last 2 times I’ve come. I’ll set up my order on the touch screen and then when I go to pay it says “internet not available” not willing to pay more to get delivery. Staff was nice enough but this stores management have obviously neglected to take care of the basic needs of their store. When I was a store manager it would happen often that the internet would go out, but I always rushed over to fox it any time it happened. ?

This was by far the worst sushi I've had in my entire life. The salmon used for my Philly roll was not sushi grade. It tasted like salmon out of a can. The salmon broke apart into pieces and was hard. Do not go here. It's not good at all.

Ordered a two rolls and a soft shell crab appetizer Friday evening for takeout. Total came out to $50+ and the food was lackluster at best. Fish was evidently not very fresh and the amount of sushi was quite little compared to other places for a comparable price. In addition, the soft shell crab was miniscule and was definitely not worth the $12. Much better options nearby.

The sashimi was fine, I guess. Not good not bad and the Wakame was good, but my medium sashimi combo was short three pieces. The bag was stapled together so I don't think the Uber eats driver ate it, but the 12 piece combo was 9 pieces.

The people are nice but the food is just BAD. As you can tell from the photo, fish was not fresh. Rice was super vinegary and was trying to mask flavors. You can taste the stink in the fish so you know it's not good quality. Ate a couple pieces and actually threw it away because I didn't feel good with the taste and textures. They try to compensate by giving you some extras like the sashimi but honestly, it's no good.

I didn't even finish my food. Some of the worst sushi I've ever had. Fish does not taste fresh. Rolls fall apart. Tuna katsu wasn't good. Salmon teriyaki was very fishy. Quality of fish seemed off. Miso was bland with nothing in it at all. The prices aren't bad but it's still not worth getting.

Ordered through Grubhub and was quoted an hour. Since the restaurant was using their own delivery cars there was no way to track or monitor progress. 15 mins past the hour mark with no update I tried to call the restaurant multiple times, no answer. I reached out through Grubhub who was able to check in with the delivery, said it was going to be another 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes later, my food now 45 minutes late I contacted Grubhub again, they were not able to reach the restaurant this time so had to cancel my order. After two hours of waiting, for a meal that required little to no cooking, I am disappointed to say the least.

I regularly eat at or order takeaway from this place for dinner. It definitely feels like a hidden gem and deserves more than its current rating. I usually get the 3-item bento with a variety of choices. The food is always delicious, plentiful, and relatively inexpensive for Japanese food in this area. The guy usually manning the place is very kind; one time when I was late in picking up my online order, he had my meal remade so I could eat it fresh. That's top notch service right there.

Been coming here for a while. The food has been pretty decent however they have raised their prices and no longer include soup or salad. Unfortunately the service has become very slow and the wait time for food is extremely long even with a light crowd.

I ordered the 2 item Bento box for lunch, which is $15. I would have ordered the lunch Bento, which is 2 dollars less, but it comes with Gyoza which I don't like. But prices very reasonable for this area. I chose Tempura and Salmon Teriyaki. Salmon was excellent. Portion sizes for salad and soup were great. Rice and Tempura were ok. I think I will stick to ordering To Go, found the employee chatter distracting.

Really clean. Decently priced. Good rice to meat ratio.

My bento box lunch was a pretty good meal overall. I had the salmon teriyaki and sashimi entrees. All the food was tasty though the sashimi was oddly limp; maybe not the best place for sashimi then. On the other hand, I was impressed with the very mild wasabi and wouldn't be surprised if this was the real deal (not a horseradish derivative). I came in close to opening and the chef was frying up the salmon so it was freshly made--had a bit of crispiness even after transporting it in a closed container. I thought it went well with the teriyaki sauce. It was on the fattier side, but I didn't mind. The gyozas also retained a bit of crisp. Nothing unusual about the miso soup and side salad, though they overdid it with the salad dressing. As mentioned earlier, the sashimi was very limp--not sure if this was due to the cut, temperature, or freshness? It tasted fine though. I'll probably stop by over lunch again in the future. It's a good lunch deal.
