OMG this place is just jaw dropping. The food is good and the robotic server is just state of the art. You order on the kiosk when you enter the restaurant and pay once you've completed your order. Then sit and within minutes your order is delivered to you via a robotic waiter. And the food is just so good as well. I highly recommend everyone to come and see what the future holds and the food will not disappoint. Amazing that's all I can say. Its worth the time to come here and see and taste the future of the restaurant industry. It's just jaw dropping to me. Good job Vons!!!!@

I keep coming back to Vons having tried BB.q Chicken and Bonchon many times. Vons original fried chicken is so good - not as heavy as the others and not spicy or sugary. Their kimchi rice is also quite tasty.

If I'm ever craving Korean Fried Chicken this is my go to. I've tried multiple korean fried chicken places in the area and they're good, but no place beats the crispy fry on vons chicken. The pieces are always huge, the glaze is light so the chicken isn't soggy, and the fry is always gorgeoussssss!!! I always get spicy, but I think it can definitely be pretty spicy for those that don't love the heat. The mild is still just as good and usually I order a full crispy fried chicken, half hot and half mild. Always a crowd pleaser! It comes with the cubed pickled radish which is always fresh and compliments the chicken so well! Haven't eaten in the restaurant for awhile, but ordering online is easy and it's always pretty fast pick up time!

Nearly ten years after it opened, this Vons still delivers the goods. I actually think that newer BB.Q Chicken franchise (two miles up El Camino) might now be the best among Korean chicken joints, but they only offer giant feasts, so I still visit Vons for their lunch specials. Those lunches sure have gotten expensive, though. Back up through 2020, one of them was $9.99 for six wings; now it's $13.99 for five wings. Do the math with tax/tip, and that's an astronomical increase of 64%, more than triple the inflation over that period. Their competitors don't seem to be following their lead in greed, i.e. Bonchon's lunch deal is still $10.85 for six wings. Maybe that's why this place seems a lot less busy than before.

Take out for the half cheddar fried chicken. Won't order this next time.the cheddar flavor is good, but the friend chicken itself is just ok. the meat is dry and not juicy.

I really love the honey butter fried chicken wings here. Drumsticks are not that great though.

Went for Weekday Lunch Special Food - 5/5. Wings had an excellent crispy batter and juicy meat. They are on the large size, just narrowly cutting it before being too big, so the meat to skin ratio was great. The cheddar dusting was delicious adding a salty and umami flavor to every bite. The dry dust texture was great at sticking onto the wings, adding flavor without making the batter soggy. Kimchi fried rice had a clean flavor which felt too plain on its own. It made for a good pairing for the extra cheddar dust and bits of batter. The mix elevated the flavor and added a crunchy bite. Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly service. Value - 5/5. Their weekday special runs all the way from open till 5 PM. Starting at $14, they offer a variety of chicken parts and flavors that showcases their entire menu. Supplement charges are added for certain items but they only end up being $1 each. Portions are great being more than enough for a meal. Excellent lunch special! Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

1082 E El Camino Real Sunnyvale, CA 94087 (El Camino East Center) (5:15pm, Wednesday, rainy, cool temps) The other day my job had me in Sunnyvale, and I spotted this Vons Chicken place in a small shopping center. I decided to go in and try their chicken. The young man asked me to look at the menu, then he would punch in my order. I ordered: 1 Half Order of Crispy Drums, Medium Heat, 5 pcs. (Price $17.99 + Tax= $19.63) My order took about 10-mins to prepare. There were 4-5 people in the dining room. The menu said 5 pieces, but I received 6 meaty drumsticks. No complaints there. Wow, the fried chicken must of been fresh out of the oil with no cooling time on a rack. Temperature wise, it was TOO HOT to pickup and eat. That chicken was lightly crispy, a nice soy garlicky taste, and had a slightly numbing medium spice level. Just right for me. I like the fried chicken, but would like to try the oven roast next time.

I got the Crispy Fried Chicken with medium spicy and the other half with Yangnyum medium spicy. The crispy was really good, different from other chicken places since it had a kick to it. The yangnyum was lacking imo, I want to try the oven baked next time!
