Mid af. This place is underwhelming and definitely not worth the price. Everything is pretty expensive, even more than Olive Garden (yet doesn't even taste better than that). Not authentic Italian food at all. As a real Italian, this isn't it. Also want to note something I noticed right away, I ask for their wine list and upon looking at it, they only serve 1 Italian wine and serve almost 10 French wines.... sounds like an identity crisis for an "Italian" restaurant to barely serve any Italian wine while serving tons of French wine. Pizza is so greasy and soggy, ughh. The best thing is the mozzarella sticks. Important tho for me to say that the food wasn't disgusting, it's edible and will get u full, but it's not good quality or authentic. service is slow and they're very stingy with napkins. honestly was not satisfied with how the food was for how much I paid ($75 for 2 ppl). I personally wouldn't come back but am not gonna say this place is the ultimate worst as I've seen much worse. Overall point, super mid and not worth the money, go somewhere else you'll thank me later

A friend and I met here for lunch because it was half way for each of us. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. We shared a pizza and salad and both were delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean and had a nice patio to enjoy on a warm day.

My most recent visit, customer service was good, waitress was on top of everything. She was nice, organized, and informative, overall good service! The food, I felt the food was a bit too bland the calzone a bit too greasy.. Honestly, I could have had better tasting pizza from my local pizza spot. To summarize, food was ok, waitress was nice, oh and just be careful with this waiter/manager kind of rude, pretentious. Maybe he's the owner who knows, just has to do a better job with customer service.

Caruso's is just as good as I remember. And it's been 40 years since the last time I was there.

We've lived in Sylmar 17 years and Caruso"s has the BEST Italian food outside of Italy. Amazing Lasagna and real, delicious "Pizza Pie"

The few times I've been here it's been with my Fiancé' and her family. Her parents are dedicated regulars. This visit was an out of town visit from my Fiancé' for the weekend. Our visit was "Okay". It definitely could have been better... Her and i had a sausage pizza and two house salads with garlic bread and rigatoni with meat sauce. We both agreed that the pizza just was very unusually bland and not saucy at all, which is sad because she remembers their pizza's use to be really good. The rigatoni and meat sauce was good but the sauce was very oily, very oily. I ended up getting an upset stomach as soon as i was done but to much oil in sauce like that will do it for me. However, it affected both of us that way. The salads were okay for salads. The waitress / customer service, I don't know if they were down people or didn't have enough people on the floor for the customers but seemed to take a long time to get parts of our orders, take the order, etc...It just seems like everything lagged. Definitely not a place, on my own, I'd choose to have dinner at...

I love this place. Ive never actually ate in the restaurant. I always order to go. I usually get the salmon ceasar salad and pepperoni pizza. Ive also had lasagna, chicken alfredo, jalapeño poppers, and a few other items. All were very good. They have a lil bar area in the back which always seems busy with lots of people and good music playing. Seems like a fun place to eat or drink at.

Really weird lasagna. It's layers of meat sauce, noodles and..... Mozzerella cheese. Where is the ricotta???

It is a cozy place. It has a varied menu. It has a buffet from 11am to 3pm. And then everything is a la carte and it is a place to relax. It is not for children. Since there are drinks. ??but a decent family atmosphere.

Loved the italian bread. I've came here a few times with my daughter over the years and we all really loved the experience. The people were always friendly, the pizza is amazingly good. I often get the lasagna as well. I think the vibe of the place is nice too
