Today after a long time I went to buy taquitos for dinner and I had a very bad experience. The tortillas were reheated and they gave me lukewarm, so much so that the taco was broken. And not to mention meat, it was just a strip of meat, plus they didn't taste like anything. And the woman who serves is in a very bad mood.

My new favorite taco truck… We are not in this area too often, but when we are, we’re always looking, the last couple times around have not gone well, and my wife, being the biggest critic between the two of us is not a joke, no small feat to get smiles out of her. I will make it a point to visit this taco truck every time I’m in the area.Well done Don Cuco !!

Best Bite: The handmade tortillas. This is the highlight of the truck. The slightly thicker tortillas have a nice little bounce to them (QQ if you will) and add an extra textural element to the tacos. I always get the carnitas but they do have a full array of the good meats beyond the normal assortment of asada, carnitas, and pollo.Vibe Check: Without putting it too lightly, truck sets up shop underneath an overpass in a sketchier, industrial part of town. "Colorful" characters always pop up like the pack of crust punks that hangs around the nearby 7-11 or the one dude that tried to convince me he was calling the shots in prison before he got let out. I enjoy the tacos enough where this does not bother me.Where did the full salsa bar with the radishes, limes, cucumbers and salsas go? Lots of these small things start adding up to me and makes me wonder if the tacos are worth the long pilgrimage.A little dash of polite Spanish really helps my interactions since I do not look like I speak Spanish and the people taking the order really seem to enjoy that. I enjoy the tacos enough to come back here whenever I am passing by as it once was my favorite taco spot.

Tacos were good, I had carnitas, chicharron, and head. The head was a little salty but still good. My favorite was the carnitas. My order was fast and only $5.
