Ambience was hospitable and nicely suited for special occasions. We appreciate that staff had seen our Open Table notes and special requests regarding our anniversary and desire for a window seat. They added all the special touches to create a beautiful evening.

Christy Hill is our favorite restaurant in the North Tahoe area. The quality of their cuisine is outstanding, the wine list is excellent, the wait staff is professional and friendly, the staff is welcoming and personal, and the view is unsurpassed. We have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants, and Christy Hill is right up there with them.

My partner and I celebrated his 40th birthday dinner at Christy Hill and had a wonderful experience. They were accommodating when I asked for a window seat out after our reservation. Our server was friendly and gave us great recommendations. Would definitely go again!
The ambience and service were outstanding. Beautiful location off the lake we missed sunset but the windows overlooking the lake allowed for a beautiful backdrop. The food was really good I had the Mediterranean Lamb Loin and my husband had the duck breast with Oaxacan mole both were pretty good. I loved the squash soup and my husband really enjoyed his octopus. The desert they gave us in celebration of our anniversary was delicious. It was worth the hour long drive from South Lake Tahoe. Overall we would definitely return.

Came here on a weeknight during a trip to Tahoe. We were seated in the bar area at a high top that still offered a nice view of the beautiful lake. We opted for the tasting menu. The first course was a kanpachi, which was very light and flavorful. Next was a delightful beet salad. I enjoyed the scallop and lamb dishes very much. I thought the service was underwhelming, as they asked for us to hold on to our silverware between courses, which I find less than ideal for an upscale restaurant, particularly for a tasting menu. It was also hard to summon our waiter, as he was quite elusive. Their house breads were fantastic, though, and I really enjoyed their house made olive oil and lavender infused butter. The triple chocolate dessert that is part of the tasting menu is quite small but very rich. My dining partner opted for the panna cotta instead, which I think was stronger dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here due to the quality and execution of the dishes and beautiful ambiance.

Christy Hill is our favorite place to dine every time we visit north Lake Tahoe. The is always exceptional, as it was this time. The views and ambience are the best. And our server, Anthony was terrific. We are returning next week.

We had the best dinner I've ever had in Tahoe last night at Christy Hill. We all loved our dinners. The charcuterie plate is a great way to start, great combo of cheeses, meats, nuts and olives. I had the duck in a mole sauce with cranberries. Sounded like an odd combo but this dish was amazing. Duck was cooked to perfection. My husband had the mushroom raviolis, I tasted one, wow, so good. My friends both had the wild boar and they loved their dishes. They have a nice wine list, we had a Cabernet franc from France. The deserts were awesome as well, love the sticky date cake. From start to finish, our meal was so enjoyable. The view is probably one of the best views on the lake. We all said we can't wait to come back here. Service also was really friendly and good. Wish this restaurant was in my SF hood.

Outstanding food and service! We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu and it was outstanding! We chose a few of the wines in the suggested pairings and we were impressed! It was our 35th Anniversary and this meal made our day special!
This is a beautiful location and the service was wonderful. For the price, we've had better quality food. But I think it's more the ambiance and quiet romantic feel that it makes up for. I wished that I had paid attention to the fact that it's beer and wine only. No cocktails. Overall, it was nice for a single time visit. But would I go back? Probably not.
Christy Hill is always such a wonderful experience! Food is amazing. A few highlights: Venison tartare is to die for. Hanger steak was the best steak I have had in a long time. Mole duck is very very good and super interesting dish. Views of Tahoe are amazing. Staff is even better than the food. 4.8/5 stars Will be back soon!

Everything about our dining experience was exceptional! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the view of the lake and mountains from our table could not be better, and the food was overall one of the best meals I have ever had. Fabulous birthday celebration at Christy Hill. Christina coordinated with my daughter to have a beautiful bottle of Le Mesnil champagne waiting at our table overlooking the Lake at sunset. Food was delicious. We had the charcuterie plate, kampachi crudo, and venison tartare to start, then the scallops and wild boar cappelletti as mains. All the flavor combinations and preparations were superb, and service was impeccable as always. We were too full for dessert, but the server brought out a treat with a candle nonetheless. Such a lovely evening. Thank you all at Christy Hill for helping to make my birthday so special!

From the moment you walk in, it is an experience!Christy Hill offers an incredible lake view that is paired with an extensively curated wine list and some of the best food I have ever eaten. The new chef, Luis Vallin, has elevated the seasonal menu and created unique and delectable options that leave me wanting more. The last few times I have visited, I was offered complimentary, specialty items sent out by the chef that are a testament to his creativity and passion. Be sure to try the Halibut (mouth watering) and the Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding, to die for.The service is always impeccable and staff willing to go out of their way to create a memorable evening. New owner, Alex, has been onsite each time I have visited and always stops by my table to check-in and make sure we are enjoying ourselves and see if there is anything further he can do to elevate our experience. I also love that they offer an option for an "End of the Night Round for the Kitchen." As someone who has worked in restaurants, these small touches are greatly appreciated by staff, but also by diners who understand how hard service employees work, especially in a mountain town where a great deal of service staff is being priced out.
