“We always enjoy getting Mountain Slice whether it's for the pizza, the ice cream, or both! Make sure to call early in the day to place an order for dinner as they get very busy and sell out. Today we ordered the tie dye pizza. I am allergic to tomatoes, so I ordered it without the vodka sauce and extra pesto. Had a little miscommunication on my end about the sauce, so when we picked it up it had a tomato sauce base. We explained what we had thought we ordered and the two guys working quickly made a fresh pie. Very thankful that they were so accommodating. The pizza was delicious with pesto as the base sauce! The dough is the star of the show. We've enjoyed both the regular style and the Detroit style pizzas here. Would love if they started doing some pizzas with other base sauces! Love that they are starting to do late nights with more arcade games, late night pizza, and beer. I think that's super fun and will draw in a cool crowd. Great option since nowhere else is open late. Go get the best pizza on the West Shore!“

“My favorite place in Tahoe City. Very good pizza, surprisingly great tacos, and good beer/soda selection. For fellow Tahoe Rim Trail hikers...this is only 300 feet off the trail!!!! Great ambiance sitting outside and my dogs like to play in Truckee river.“

“Great pizza and great service, we choose a specialty pizza and the ingredients were of high quality and fresh on a nice crust and I can safely say one of the better pizzas I had in 2023. We also got a Brussels sprouts appetizer to share and that was a hit with the table, paired with excellent customer service this places is a standout in the area.“

“I work in Olympic Valley and have eaten here many times. I love it! I get a pepperoni pizza with pineapple. Yes I think pineapple goes on pizza. It's delicious. We also order from them quite often for our Sunday group lunches for our staff.“

“Scott, our super friendly bartender told us that it was Monday Ramen night. The Ramen with the short rib was full of flavor and toppings. We also had the Fungi pizza which had such a great crunch crust and was also loaded with toppings. This was a great find!“

“10/10 apres vibes. This is the place to be if you want to get after it post an epic mountain day. Bonus points that you can get a wildflour cookie 100 ft away. Come for the party, or the people watching - I promise you will not be disappointed. There is a cool bar upstairs if you can get a spot, but outdoor vibes on a sunny afternoon surpass all else. “When your kid requests a dish twice in a row for the two nights we stayed in North Tahoe, you know that it's that good. The first night we had to get it to go, the wait was an hour long and there is no way a kid will wait for food that long. Ordering the food and pick up was really easy, and staff is very friendly and patient. We ordered the gouda mac and cheese with ham, and by far one of the most flavorful mac and cheese I had. The sauce, the cheese it was just so yummy. We also got the sausage pizza which was very meaty and tasty. Second night we were lucky enough to get a table, and staff is very friendly and informative. Inside had a full sit at bar and also regular tables. The second night we ordered the same gouda mac and cheese and thai curry pizza. Was very satisfying both nights. After a day in the snow, this place hits the spot.“

“Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.“
