I was a little worried because there weren't many reviews on Yelp. Checked Google, there are more (good ones!). Stopped in because the menu looked great. We had a vegetarian dinner for 2. Usually my favorite is Korma. It was good but the channa masala was out of this world. Left so full and happy.

One of my favorite restaurants in the West Valley. The food is delicious and the customer service is top-notch! I am making an effort to support stellar small business like this one! High-quality dishes and the spices are just-right - my top Indian restaurant in LA. I love the dine-in experience here! Big comfy booths and a great atmosphere! My favorites include: 1) Lamb Korma - Delicious sauce and tender chunks of lamb. 2) Chicken Tikka Massala - A must-get! 3) Lamb Massala - Love the sauce. 4) Chicken Tandoori 5) Appetizer Sampler - Love the variety in this sampler. My favorites are the chicken tikka and the pakora. 6) Naan Bread Definitely give this restaurant a try! They have ample parking in the back.

I read online that "curry" detoxifies mercury very fast from the body. --- My legs were weak and shaking from the overdose on Mercury... I made special order and they did it without any questions. Literally, after I finished the food... AS SOON AS I FINISHED the delicious curry dish they made... I WAS CURED!!! My legs went back to normal! Amazing grace!

Shalimar is a great Indian eatery. The people that work there are so very kind and the food is amazing. We love this place and I just had not gotten a chance to review it. They use a wood charcoal to cook their food and it is so yummy. The place is not huge, but it is comfortable and quiet and you will feel so relaxed there. Whatever you want in the way of real Indian food they have. Parking is easy and the prices are reasonable. Their chicken tikka marsala is the best in the valley, hands down. Try their chicken tikka and you must have their garlic naan. They have a large menu and you can even pick up or order to go. I like eating right there. They are super careful with masks and keeping everything clean and tidy. They serve wine and beer at great prices. They also have free WiFi, which I don't use, ever, but in case you need it, there you go. Have the best time.

Was craving Indian food and have never tried this place before. I'm vegetarian and my wife is vegan and they have tons of options for us both! The food was amazing! Deliciously spicy! Definitely will be going back! This is what we ordered Vegan Aloo Saag Mushroom(Hot) Vegan Gobi Bhaji(Hot) Tofu Masala(Hot) - hard to pick a fave but so good! Vegan Vegetable Curry(Hot)

I decided to show some love to Shalimar today and order over $50 worth of food. I used Uber eats and tippee the delivery driver a handsome tip before he even came. Once my good arrived, I told the driver that I tipped through the app and wanted to make sure that he receives it. He tells me he doesn't think that he gets tips that come through the app. I pulled out cash and tippee again. Because I felt like drivers should be aware of the tips that they are receiving through the app, this led me to call the restaurant itself. I explained my situation, and I asked will the driver receive the tip that I left on Uber eats. I was told that because Uber is it third party app, they are not sure if their drivers are receiving tips. Luckily and thank God for google, I was able to find the answer within 5 seconds. Similar to Lyft or Uber, drivers keep 100% of the tip. Needless to say I became furious because I don't understand why the driver, or the store would lie about receiving tips. I understand we're coming out of a pandemic, but I don't make a ton of money myself and I just wanted to help support local businesses. When I called the restaurant back after looking on Google, they stop picking up. I went from being a first-time customer to neversupporting Shalimar's again in 40 minutes all because of a horrible experience. If you're feeling generous and supportive, I urge you to give your dollars to another business. The food was good but the way I was treated as a new consumer was not right!

This review was long overdue but here's my review. Ordered for delivery for during the pandemic stay at home order, a chicken tandoori, a chicken tikka masala, a poneer kulcha, a plain prata, a vegetable samosa, and a pilao rice. The chicken tandoori was huge portion and tasted really good, the chicken tikka masala was also really tasty. I love the prata dipped in the masala sauce, it's really tasty. All the food taste really good even for delivery!! A really recommended resto!!
