Unless you have a good reason to stay and eat there, take your bowl to go. They have meters in the front and a tiny parking lot in the back.“

“What a great breakfast/lunch spot! It's definitely a local spot. What doesn't go unnoticed is the amazing customer service! The vibe of this place is very welcoming! I have to note that all the ingredients are so fresh. I ordered a miso glaze salmon bowl and if you look at the image you'll see how big of a salmon pc I got! It was just enough greens and rice for a hearty meal! I also got their like a lady juice and it was perfect with this meal!Definitely will be back and I love that the walls have outlets so it's a good place to get some work done as well!They do have parking but it is in a plaza so it does get busy. They have a mouth-watering selection of fresh donuts, including an impressive assortment of cronut inspired donuts.Their little shop is in a small strip mall in Santa Monica. I had no trouble finding parking right outfront. The shop has a colorful, pink-focused theme. They had an outstanding selection of donuts on display in their glass cases as well as a nice, large menu board offering up all kinds of snacks, drinks, and sandwiches.The four donuts I sampled on my visit to DK's were fantastic. It was honestly a very hard decision. I had to limit myself to four because when I buy donuts, I have very little self control and know I am going to eat them all the same day. Besides, donuts are always best when they are fresh.The strawberry nutella cronut style donut was amazing. Lots of rich, hazelnut spread flavor mixed with strawberry. The plain glazed donut was top notch. I always try to get a plain glaze and use it as a baseline. A great plain glaze donut is always a treat for me. The cinnamon sugar cronut and the peanut butter cup donut were also great.I know there are other "DK" donut places out there. This one is a real treat and I think it is the OG one. I love the texture of the boba here, a little softer with a brown sugar flavor. This place has lots of drinks to choose from, including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and kids drinks. “By far the best bagel I've ever purchased at a donut shop. I was servicing my car across the street and decided to stop by this shop. I was greeted by super friendly people who were happy to help. Although this item wasn't on the menu they were super accommodating and said they would be able to do it anyways. It's clean, there's a couple tables you can sit and enjoy your meal at. I sat down to enjoy my bagel and as soon I bit into it the texture and freshness of the bread caught me by surprise. It tastes freshly baked and it's so fluffy and delicious. They have an interesting drinks selection outside of the typical flavors. I've tried many different flavors but my favorites are Roasted Oolong Tea (w/ house cream) , Genmiacha Green Tea (w/ house cream), Ladybug (passion fruit), and Guava Sunset. I usually get all the drinks less sweet (50%), but sometimes the sweetness consistency isn't there so 75% may be a safer option. Initially I also really enjoyed their boba but lately the texture has been off so I haven't been ordering it.. Highly recommend to download their phone app and order pick up. You can get points towards future orders and save on time. It does take awhile for them to make the orders. Overall, I really like Teaspoon and I'm here at least once a week!“
