So Sushi is So So off the hook good. They closed the So Sushi Also location and are opening a brand new store across the Parking lot of their Tarzana store!Their service is fantastic! Their fish super fresh. Things to try: So Just Eat-A, Salmon and scallop sushi are a must.

Impromptu Sushi dinner.Wife loves sushi and this place was recommended to us by a friend. Which is great as it is right down the street from our house. It’s right next to Zankou chicken and their is plenty of free parking.Fortunately, we found two spots at the bar and it was the best seat in the house. On a Wednesday night, this place was packed. They do have outdoor seating with heaters but the action is on the inside. The inside was semi-loud, lively, fast paced and close quarters filled with enjoyment. It was a great atmosphere to be in.The menu is filled with many delights and they had an extra fresh board for more fish, and rolls…Great variety of food. The chefs were completely amazing. You can see they enjoy their craft. Lots of banter with the customers and they themselves. It was nice to see their chemistry together and their love for creating delicious food. Great team! The food itself was fresh, tasty and nice size portions. The prices are not cheap but you get what you pay for in Woodlands Hills. It was quality fish and the prices reflect that. I would definitely be back to try different rolls.

First time to this place. They have great cuts here! Salmon was buttery and sweet. The oyster shooters were tasty too. It can get a little crowded inside, but they have outdoor seating in front with heaters. Worth trying!

This is the sloppiest food presentation I have ever seen at a sushi restaurant. Everything looks like it was thrown together in a home kitchen by someone who has never actually made sushi before. The quality of fish is subpar and they charge for basic condiments like ponzu. The prices are 30% more than they should be and the service is dismal. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect at a strip mall sushi spot.

We love love So Sushi so much! Ryo is great and has a wonderful personality. Came here for our anniversary and I had all my favorites. I ordered Ankimo sushi, so what handroll and cut roll, uni and Toro cut roll (soooooo good and creamy), Japanese mackerel sushi, jumbo scallop sushi, and amberjack sushi ? soooooooo freaking good.

Such fresh sushi! And sooo yummy and the cuts are so big.Love this place! They have a lot of fish options for sushi and even their rolls are good. Their jumbo scallop, albacore, and toro sushi is so good. I recommend the toro as a handroll. My go to order here is a spicy salmon handroll, various sushi depends on what I am craving, SOlantro roll or SO Hot roll. Delicious. This place gets pretty busy, I usually come right after work as soon as they open and the place gets packed quick. Service is ok, they are attentive and friendly.Highly recommend for fresh sushi.

This is a take out order review. My first meal after delivering our baby. It HAD to be sushi and I'm so glad we ordered from here nearby the Tarzana hospital to retain freshness.Food was beautifully presented after husband placed a phone to go order. Parking was easy given it's on Ventura Blvd. Food was delicious and so worth it as a mother's first meal. Fresh fish with combinations well put together. Be warned the spicy rolls ARE spicy it's not just wasabi level heat.

It’s not the most fancy sushi place in the valley, but it’s the best sushi in the valley, it’s fresh, tasty and the service is above and beyond so friendly attentive team, and the price is worth it a 100% and another time the team are

Succulent Slabs of Sushi !Best Yellowtail Sashimi I've ever tasted. I got the Sashimi Lover's and they let me choose my favs. Thanks to RJ's review pic from 5 years ago !The yellowtail and tuna were so epic, I asked for a custom roll with them combined with soy paper, avocado, cucumber & tempura crunch.

Place is mostly overpriced for the type of sushi you get. Portions are large but if you are accustomed to some of the more high quality sushi restaurants in the area, this is not for you. Better than market sushi but a bit commercial i.e. imitation crab and microwaved edemame. Whatever you do don't order the popcorn shrimp. Frozen shrimp covered in some nasty mayo sauce.
