I can’t believe I am giving Applebee’s a 5 stars because I had sworn them off as a chain, in whole years ago- having had more bad experiences than good. When my new husband suggested we go, I shuddered but since it was his choice and it was a new town for us- I thought let’s just see….think positive. I had lunch today. I used the little device at the table to order a salad, an appetizer, and an entree. I noticed that the only soup on the device was french onion, but I don't prefer that one. I ended up ordering a small salad and the riblet plate with french fries. The server came by, greeted me, and I told her I ordered from the device. I also asked if the only soup was the french onion.
