Pork tasted old and gross flavor (Bq pork and braised pork belly). Egg drop soup was even worse looked orange. I can honestly say this was the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Had a couple of bites and had to throw away all the food $40 worth. Please I'm doing u a favor with this post. Only thing I can say is DISGUSTING!!!!!

Beef and broccoli was good, roast pork was good. Veggy chop suey was ok. But i wouldn't call that little untasty thing an eggroll and the fried rice was more like steamed rice with flavoring. Enjoyed the plain rice. Lunch special this was which was main food with soup eggroll and choice of rice, all for 7.95 @ but only thing is for takeout soup is $1 extra. Because of coronavirus you cannot sit and eat. So I paid $25 and walked out without soups. I miss my NY chinese resturants

*We got takeout so this is based solely on the food* We got a little bit of everything - vegetable soup, cream cheese wontons, lo mein, pork dish, and tofu veggie dish. The soup had no flavor - the broth was completely bland and the veggies consisted of mostly onions and celery with few broccoli heads. The wontons dripped with oil and had a bit of cream. All of the other dishes were similar - drenched in oil and almost no flavor. When I bit into the tofu, oil seeped out. The lo mein had a weird scent. Pro - great serving size Con - too much oil and no flavor which defeats the pro

I ordered the cream cheese wontons and there was hardly any cream cheese in most of them and in others there was nothing in them. The beef and broccoli was not very saucy.

The host was very rude and busy using his phone but the restrooms were very dirty! And there was not hand soap! So how do the employees wash their hands before recruiting to the kitchen?

We really enjoyed the food. Affordable prices. WE had the house low mein, eggplant in garlic sauce, fried squid with jalapeños, and it came with a bowl of white rice. Each dish was basically a dish for two. A lot of food. Everything was freshly made, the hot tea was wonderful, the service went smoothly. Even though there were three chefs and one host/server to tend to all the tables & Togo orders. We are patient people :) The place could use some lovely decor drapes (to cover the storage racks when you first enter), the tables and booths were pleasantly spaced and comfy. We would recommend this place to frIends and family.

China chef is pretty good overall. Cheese Wontons are bland, but the chicken wings are 9/10. Served with some jalapeños on the side!! Mongolian beef is bland also. Singapore noodles are pretty good, so is the combo fried rice. Although, they send forks, but no napkins? Yes, I believe that any Restaurant using an outside delivery service are still responsible for the service and delivery of THEIR food! Obviously, the delivery services are also, but the establishment can put napkins, or other regular items before bagging to be picked up. The delivery services are hard to review and some Restaurants choose to not have their own but that is a choice.

Place was empty and they took forever to serve us. For this, two stars. But the food is good and pretty fairly priced. For this, four stars. So it averages out to 3 ?

We've been eating in China Chef since they opened opened. We enjoy their Cantonese style food. Ken, the general manager and head chef is very knowledgeable and is happy to customize your order to your taste. They have a great lunch menu. We eat at China Chef at least once a month and find their food to be as good as any in the valley, if not better. The key here is every order is made fresh.
