++Flavorful adobada ++Huge, delicious flautas +Generous toppings on taquitos +Good asada nachos +Quality of meats in general is good here What makes this place 5 stars, in my opinion, is the value. The quality is a cut above many Mexican places in the area, *and* they aren't trying to charge an arm and a leg like those same places.

This was my first time trying this place. I ordered two shredded beef tacos. They were good and the shredded beef had a good flavor. Wish they put a little more meat Inside of the taco, but can't complain about the price. I would be back to try more items off of their menu.

STOP READING REVIEWS AND JUST GO HERE. Incredible burritos. I've had probably over 50 California Burritos in my life and none of them compare to D'Sotos. Perfect flavor, perfect spice balance, perfect tortilla, perfect crispy fries and perfect crispy meat. My husband and I go to San Diego a few times a year and this is now our non-negotiable pit stop. Thank you for the amazing burrito, but damn you for pushing my standards to such a height that I'll always be dissatisfied with all other burritos.

Had not been here in years and decided to give it try after getting a burrito hankering. I don't recall hating on the place in the past, it was just kind of out of the way, as well as out of sight / out of mind. Walked up (they have drive thru and walk up window) on a weekday evening, around 6pm. One customer was walking away and one came walking up after me. Nobody was in the drive thru from the time I arrived until the time I left. I point this out for you to decide as to why. Ordered a carne asada, carnitas and bean/cheese/rice burritos to take back. The burritos were done in a timely manner and you can actually watch them being made through the window if inclined. The burritos were of an acceptable size for the price paid. The lady at the counter was very friendly. Upon returning home the wife dove into her carne asada. After a few bites she stated it was too overdone and grisly. I tried it and I could see what she was talking about, but I eventually ate the remainder. It did not have a lot of flavor, which I am used to. The same, lack of flavors, was in my carnitas. The meat in the carnitas was cooked well, not overdone or grisly. Their salsas were pretty good and added some much needed flavors. The bean/cheese/rice burrito was well made, meaning it had the right balance of all three (which seems difficult for some fast food Mexican restaurants to accomplish for some reason). Again, though, not a lot of flavors. We may try this place again in the future, just to determine if either our taste buds were off or the line cook was off. If we do I will update this review either way, but as of now it "could've been better" rating it is.

I seriously don't know why this place has so many stars. The Garlic shrimp was horrible. Shrimp were so over cooked. The beans are salty. The rice is blah. I've eaten here several times as I was staying in the hotel for several days due to my job. The guacamole is the worst I've ever had. Usually yelp reviews are in point. Must be that ppl in Temecula have horrible taste in food. Tacos blah. The only positive really is the staff is very friendly.

So delicious. Great customer service, friendly. We ordered the carne asada fries and rolled tacos with beans and rice. The carne asada fries were the bomb. I haven't had as good as these fries in a long time. Even portion of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa Fresca. The carne was tender, fresh, and flavorful. The fries were crispy. The green salsa had a lot of flavor and the red salsa packed a punch but was delicious! The rolled tacos were crispy, and the perfect ratio of meat to tortilla. The rice was good and so were the beans. Overall a delicious experience. Will be returning!

Don't bother with this place if you want breakfast as they don't feel any obligation to open when they say they will. My wife waited with 3 other cars for 20 mins after their posted opening time of 7am and finally left when it was clear no one was coming. This is how you lose customers because we wont risk wasting our time by driving there again.

Food was hot, fresh and made after ordering. The beans are cheesy and make a nice compliment to the not so flavored rice. I really enjoyed their toquitos. All together I would come back.

Just moved to Temecula and we're looking for a good Mexican place. Saw the 4.5 stars and all the positive reviews. Sorry to say my sister who was dropping by stopped eating after a couple bites. And my wife and I were also not impressed with the taste. Can't pinpoint what's wrong with it but the flavor just wasn't there. The meat tasted a bit gamey and not flavored well, the beans were on the salty side, and the cheese tasted bleh. My wife said her fish tacos were greasy and bland. Most likely will not be returning and I would not recommend. FYI, I had their Super Burrito, my wife tried the fish tacos, my sister had the Chimichanga.

Carnita burrito was delicious and a large portion at that. This place is small but stands tall when it comes to Mexican food in Temecula. Better then most without a doubt, try it, yell like it!
