Orders are ready to go quickly. Kind service. Buns are soft, chicken is tender and crunchy. Not the most flavorful, same goes for the sauce and fries.

Tried Hurrican Rays last week and it was delicious. I have tried all the latest chicken sandwiches in the area including fast food and other than popeye's which is fast food this place is unbeatable. I ordered 2 sandwiches 1 extra hot and 1 category 5, I don't think either sandwiches had enough heat (popeyes spicy was hotter). The reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the fries (chicken sandwiches get 5 stars) All the pics. I saw showed crinkle cut but they gave me waffle fries and they suck just like chick filet a. I would recommend anyone to try for the sandwich which will be hard to beat. BTW I got it to go so had everything on the side since I was taking it back to Lake Elsinore and didn't want it soggy and it didn't disappoint. Awesome

Pretty good ! There's a Canes and Chick-fil-A that charges more and leaves you still hungry .

Not sure why some are giving negative reviews. Easily the best chicken sandwiches in town. Maybe some are too used to the bland flavors of the fast food place across the street.

This place is awesome! Osmar and his team ensure that the chicken is always amazing! By far the best hot chicken that I have had in California. I will come back many more times! Thank you Osmar!

I want to start by saying that if you know where Craft Burrito (across from Ryan Bros. Coffee) is? Hurricane Rays Hot chicken is Co-op in the same joint...it was a little confusing for us pulling in because last I'd been in, it was Craft Burrito and I just wanted to clear it up for anyone else. You will see the sign in the window but not to visual from the parking lot. Ok adulting folks, here's how you do on a Friday evening (or anytime ya like, it's 5' o-clock somewhere)...ya belly up to the bar and order a cold beer from any of the many Socal brewery draft options and if you are lucky, Carlos will be there to take your order, you can eat there or take it to go. Super cool dude. We opted to order from the counter where the friendly cashier took our order from us of two Hot Chix Sammi's with category 4 spice! Which was perfect! Some Hurricane Strips, with seasoned fries, came with cornbread and slaw, also in a category four - pretty large amount of food, and then the Hurricane Ray fries because PICKLES...omg love this Comeback Sauce, the name says it all. We took a look around as the place is bigger, they did open concept and added a beer bar so we sat with Carlos who poured us a couple cold ones while we waited. He recommended some time, if we are brave enough to try a category five. Ooofff I might, I might - but only if hidden in a sandwich. A regular at the bar mentioned he tried it and he had to use a lot of sauce, but that it makes ya sweat. Our family are big time Richard Blais fans, he's an awesome innovative local Chef in Cali who knows his Chicken. You may have heard of his places in San Diego and Encinitas, Crack Shack. Well we are regulars when we visit SD and used to live out that way. Finding out about Hurricane Rays was super exciting because we missed our fave Firebird Chicken Sandwich from Crack Shack...and guess what, Hurricane was a close second and hit the spot. The chicken is really tender and the flavor is amazing. We are stoked it's in the neighborhood!

Best chicken sandwich I've tried. I like how they used dark meat for the chicken sandwich and chicken tenders!

The food was very good and filling. We ordered the Hurricane fries instead of the regular (seasoned) fries and those were delicious as well. The place was clean and had outside seating. Restrooms were clean too. I deduct 1 star because their soda machine was putting out flat soda. Being a soda addict and considering how expensive soda is now anyways, getting flat soda is a bummer. Hurricane Ray's please check your machine!

I had the Chicken Strips without any spicy sauce, whereas my boyfriend got the chicken sandwich. While he liked his meal, I was very unhappy with my own. To begin, the chicken was more encased than breaded. Additionally, it was not chicken breast or any other solid cut, but rather a cluster of rib meat flakes and chips held together by their tough dough cocoon. After each difficult bite, numerous Meat shards would tumble out of the breach. The fries were delicious. But that alone is not worth the trip.

Long live the king of spicy chicken sandwiches! We tried the level five (spiciest) and it was a mega-hit. It took 10 minutes for us to get our sandwiches, they were scorching hot. The portion is big, it was crispy, juicy and tender. With the coleslaw and pickles on the brioche bun, dynamite. The level five is not so bad that I couldn't enjoy the sandwich, it did have much more zing than most places. I have had the national franchise sandwiches and they are OK. If I have my choice it is Hurricane Ray's all the way. We also split an order of fries. They were excellent too. Perfect amount of seasoning and great crispness. Finally, the $3 milk shake. I thought it was a good deal for the price. I would definitely order it again. There are a couple of places around Hurricane Ray's that serve chicken...pass on them, go with the best.

The hidden Gem... Well, Hurricane Ray's was recommended to me by a friend. My wife and I finally made it to the location. It is a little hidden, in a small store front off Margarita, outside the mall. Prior businesses in that same space have failed. The menu is pretty small...but if you serve an amazing product, it DON'T MATTER!!! The guy taking the orders was very on the job. His service was outstanding. So I asked if he was the owner, because he acted as though he actually had a stake in the company. Turns out he is the COO, I believe. That's what I heard him say. Cool dude. So since I had never been there before, I asked what is good. Obviously, he said everything was good. He described the menu and the "HEAT" ranges. We told him we like it hot. So we got the red paper and the checkered paper. So, "hot" and not so hot. I felt safe in the information he gave me. I told him I would be putting up a YELP review. He told me to do it!!! Here we go... The bad first... the only bad thing I can even think of is that the "hot," was not "HOT!!!" It was spicy...ish, but not hot at all. Now the good... This Hurricane Ray's "Hot" Chicken Sandwich, WAS THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 51 years of life!!! Totally the BOMB!!! The sandwich was juicy, full of flavor and the additional ingredients were AWESOME. Of course, I got the combo, but I upgraded for the Hurricane Fries. Wow... the fries were amazing. I felt that all I needed was a piece of bread to sop up all the deliciousness. Okay... the ingredients for the fries says, "come back sauce." Well, after eating it, I know what the main ingredient in that sauce is... BUTTER!!! Butter is like bacon.. it goes with anything and makes everything better, especially your day!!! Okay... next time I go back, which will be soon, I need to make sure I get the "HOT" chicken. I will need a written guarantee that it will be hot!!! They deserve a 5 star, but I feel cheated, because it was not hot at all!!! Everything else was Da'BOMB, though!!! My friend came through with the amazing recommendation, for sure!! My hat is off... to HURRICANE RAY'S "HOT" CHICKEN SANDWICHES!!! I am posting the menu and a pic of my sandwiches. My wife and I wanted to try the "hot" and the not so hot. So we each got a half of each sandwich. Both delicious!! Peace out...

A great new spot that's serious competition with Cane's and Chik-fil-a & all within the same block. Great portion sizes, flavorful chicken, fries are seasoned superbly. We shall return and tell others about this place.

wow!! i am so glad that i found a hot chicken place here in temecula! i've tried plenty of hot chicken sandwiches from socal and this is official one of my favorite places to go to for a chicken sandwich. instead of the traditional chicken breast sandwiches, they make their chicken sandwiches w chicken thigh which gives it so much more flavor and juiciness!! They do have a chicken breast option too. They're sauce was flavorful, one of the better sauces i've tasted. Their combo comes with fries and a drink and the prices was really affordable! The fries were seasoned well. The only thing I would critique about this place is that the heat levels aren't spicy enough. I tried the regular heat and extra heat and wish it was more spicy. it was definitely a milk to a light medium. But overall still really delicious!
