went Monday and it was close but the reviews are true .. this is by far the tastiest cheesecake I have tasted so far in CA. It says home baked and I think so that’s accurate. The cheese is so decadent. One slice for 6 dollars is worth it and its a big slice too

I have been coming to Mommie Helen Bakery for over 20 years. The baked goods have been great all this time. However, I traveled from a far to receive my order only to be disappointed in my peach cobbler and banana pudding. The orders were not ready at all. Then when I received my orders the peach cobbler was not seasoned with the spices, had no sugar and was not cooked. I could not believe this. Then the person behind the counter said they didn't have enough to but if I wanted to wait I had to wait an hour or take it cold. I took it cold but was not expecting to be no flavor. The banana pudding had very little cookies. Also was not flavorful. The wait time was absolutely not called for especially when I ordered and paid weeks in advance.

The best Bakery in the I.E. has got it all together this Thanksgiving morning. Lines are managed efficiently, staff is doing a fine job. Can't say enough good words about Mommie Helen's. Finest cheesecake on Earth.

I pre-ordered my Thanksgiving sweet potato pies online and paid for them November 10,2021 for pick up on November 24,2021. I arrived at approximately at 12:10 pm. When I got to the front on the line at 1pm I was informed that I would have to wait another 20-25 minutes for my pies to be ready. I was angry because I feel that it is not good customer service. My pies were so suppose to be ready for pick up at 9am. I pre-ordered and pre-paid, so my pies should have been ready. I will not patronize this business again. It is now 1:35 pm and I am still waiting on my pies that should have been ready at 9am. Also , the staff was asking if we wanted to come back between 6and 8 pm tonight to pick up our orders. I think not.
The pies, pudding and cobbler are phenomenal. The sweet potato pecan pie is out of this world! The rose and peach cobbler are my personal favorites. Nice staff. Warm, friendly and they put up with a lot ( when I was there a customer was being rather rude, but the clerk at hand was kind and warm throughout the exchange). The banana pudding is wonderful, I just wish they gave larger portions.

Me and my husband got a slice of there cheese cake and that was sooo Good . And we got one chocolate cupcakes and that was so soft and moist bread and the frosting was really good not to sweet just right .
