I absolutely love this beautiful winery! I also love the member perks! I feel I get an education on the wines with each tasting! Madison, and Mary are awesome teachers! I love the reds, and HIGHLY recommend you try a taste of the 2017 Petite Sirah Reserve as well as the double gold metle 2019 Cabernet Franc! The outside area has tables with umbrellas amidst a beautiful fountain overlooking the hills of vineyards!! A MUST TRY!!

The view from the patio was beautiful. Just know, this is Not a sit down type of restaurant. You order your food at the bar, are given a number, find a table, and then the food is delivered to your table. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Most chicken sandwiches I have ordered at restaurants are grilled chicken breasts. It wasn't until I received my meal that I noticed it was an overcooked, charred chicken Thigh (that I would receive a thigh was not mentioned in the menu), and this sandwich was over $20 for a cheaper cut of meat! My husband ordered a burger, which was burnt on the outside and too rare on the inside. It appeared by looking at both of our meals that the cook was quickly cooking food at overly high temperatures, charring the outside and undercooking the inside. Definitely not worth it as the food was below par for the very high price and as the dining experience for the high cost was similar to eating at a fast food restaurant. We will not be back.

Had lunch at the Bistro cafe. The place is beautiful! Looks like a palace and overlooks vast valley & hilltops. The service was quick and probably the fastest BLT ever served in history. We also ordered the steak salad and the hummus appetizer. I'd have to say the food was just ok in comparison to other local winery cuisine. It was good but not phenomenal. Service was pleasant and the views were breathtaking. We got a chance to sit in the sun. Wonderful afternoon!

Great wines, ( both reds and whites) great patio.Madison is the best server, so personable and friendly. She knows so much about these wines. She should be a manager here. It’s our go to winery! Guess that’s why we joined the members club with its fabulous perks.

This review is solely based on their wine club. We joined in November and completed the 2 wine shipments per the contract. I canceled in January and sent an email to the person who confirmed our membership originally. I then get an email this week notifying me of charging me for the next club shipment. I emailed them twice asking for them to cancel as I Gave them enough time in January to cancel. I even placed a call to the winery and the voicemail box I got was the person I initially canceled my membership to in January and left a voicemail advising them to cancel my membership. I have had ZERO response. The charge has now gone through on my credit card and they will be hearing from capital one disputing the charges. So just be aware once you join they may try and make you lifelong members..

my name is danny: I think this place is worth at least 7 mil. 5 football fields of grapes makes for an impressive mix of grapes by a local (master winemaker) expert we refer to as owner david; great wine, great experience, and great pride into the humble gem this place is. btw, aesthetics (+), wine (+++).

Had a fantastic time wine tasting at Monte de Oro. Wines were excellent. The people at the bar did a great job of guidance, recommendations through the tasting. Also food from the kitchen was very good. This place provided my favorite wine tasting experience in Temecula!! ?

I just wanted to leave a review for our service with Riley. We did a wine tasting and he made sure to go ABOVE and BEYOND to explain every single tasting in an easy way (we are not wine drinkers unfortunately). He was very personable and fun to talk to. All around great experience because of him.

I had visited Monde De Oro a few times in the past and always had a great experience. Last week, I booked a table for their Valentine's Day dinner event. Having never dined there, I wasn't sure what to expect. Every aspect of the evening was brilliant. The waitstaff were outstanding. There were four different types of wine on the prix fixe menu. We ordered a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon. When aked by our waiter if we liked, I replied "it's OK". He then asked what could be better. I explained I thought it was a bit watery and not full bodied (promise I am not a wine snob), more like a Pinot Noir. He made us an offer to bring another type of wine even though it was not on the menu for our evening. We were able to taste it before he popped the cork. I find this type of service rare. We were not charged extra. As for the food, it was delicious, a charcuterie board, a prawn salad and a delicious and cooked to perfection top sirloin steak. The ambiance was great, not too crowded and well staffed. A five star evening.

I have visited this winery quite a few times and I must say it is truly wonderful! The staff is always very welcoming, inviting, and friendly. The wines I have tasted are delicious and the food is delicious too! We even hosted my Father's 70th birthday at the winery and I could not have asked for a more lovely and personal experience. We were all treated like family and it is clear that the staff truly care about their patrons, whether you have been there once or a hundred times. The parking is easy and the views are beautiful too! I highly recommend Monte De Oro for a perfect wine tasting experience.
