Fine ambience and the server was great. But the hostess wasn't very nice and we were sat within a literal foot of the front entrance where you are afraid of people hitting you with your elbow as they come in. Luckily our server moved us, it being a birthday celebration. Food wasnt of expectable quality. Fried cheese tasted like something from my freezer. Ceaser salad had bland dressing and croutons were too big to fit in your mouth. The sauce from our pastas tasted like they were from a can and seafood overcooked. I couldn't keep eating and left hungry. Was not worth the money.

One of my go to places for live music and fine dining. However, last night my gfs and I made reservations for 5 for an engagement dinner. The hostess was impolite. Her mannerism was just horrible, not at all welcoming. Service was a bit slow and one of the servers commented on how much sprinkles of cheese one of gfs should have. What in the world?! Service all together was not so good. The food, music and esp 3 bottles of wine made the experience decent.

My boyfriend and I went on an impromptu dinner date and this place did not disappoint! The food, ambiance and service was amazing! Our server Andre was amazing and helped us pick out a delicious bottle of wine. Already planning a double date back!!

We're wine club members and over the moon about their Sangiovese, rich and earthy Aglianico and Cabernet. It's so rare to find a local Temecula valley wine with this depth and dimension. The pasta is handmade here, chewy, al dente and dreamy. Our go-to favorite is the smoky and savory smoked salmon pasta with capers. I'm less impressed with manicotti (advertised with a bechamel and pink tomato sauce but in reality dry with a thin red sauce). The chicken parmesan is crisp and plentiful. Unfortunately, they just started charging $5 for "bread service" (eye roll) and discontinued my husband's favorite Italian beer, Peroni. That is going to make it difficult to entice him to return. The service is remarkable -- old world attentiveness. Be sure to avoid the red dining room -- it's hot in the summer. The newer side has better air handlers.

6 of us came here for dinner for my birthday. (My grandmother, her boyfriend, my mother, my girlfriend and her friend) We ordered a round of limoncello, 2 appetizers and a glass of wine. (At this moment we are ready to spend some money on a great dinner. Everyone else has been here multiple times and I've heard nothing but great things) We opened some presents and my grandmother decided to order some wine for the table. (She loves wine and has wine cellar of her own) The server was excellent and very kind. My grandmother found the bottle she wanted on the menu and ordered it. The server said okay, then came back after a couple minutes and said they didn't have it. The server then said she had two other suggestions. My grandmother chose one. Upon opening the bottle, the server poured a taste and gave the cork to my grandmother to smell (per usual). My grandmother didn't like the smell or the taste, in addition, she also noticed that the cork was dry. She commented on it and the owner (ALEX) walked up and asked what the problem was. My grandmother told him that she wanted a different bottle. Alex said he has never heard of someone returning a bottle of wine (ridiculous) and asked what he should do with the bottle, he said "because it was corked" he can't take it back. We had a lengthy exchange in the middle of the restaurant about exchanging an open bottle. He said if you order a bottle, you now own it. I asked why would you allow her to taste the wine and let her smell the cork if you don't care what she thinks about it. (Mind you, we aren't at an action.) My grandmother asked if she was supposed to drink something she didn't want, ALEX (the owner) said yes. My grandmother said she didn't care about the money, but she just didn't want to drink something she won't like. Alex just kept repeating, "well what am I supposed to do". He stormed off after telling us for the 4th time that he didn't know what to do. We all sat at the table speechless at what just happened. We got up, payed our tab and left to go to a different restaurant. I'll tell you Alex what you should have done. You should've made it right. Take the bottle back, sell us a different bottle, take a percentage off the bottle and sell us a different bottle. There are amillion different sales tactics you could've taken. My god man. We would've spent $500+ on our table. You chose to handle this situation very unprofessionally. You treated us like you didn't care that we were even in your restaurant. We were patrons, willing to spend money on a birthday dinner. You lost customers over a bottle of wine. I honestly came here with the highest expectations. We weren't rude or inconsiderate. We weren't asking for anything free. ALEX, I hope you are reading this and are telling me to screw off. I hope you are screaming at me on this review telling me never to come back to your restaurant. I'm sure you have loyal customers so I hope you keep them. But you are a hot head. You should treat your customers with respect. You disrespected my my mother, you disrespected my grandmother and you disrespected my family. All because my grandmother said she didn't like a bottle of wine. Give me a break man. Listen the past couple years have been rough for everyone. I GET IT. WE ARE THE ONES SUPPORTING YOU. We are the ones out here eating locally and supporting local business. I just don't understand. I've also read reviews about you abusing your staff so good luck.Edit: upon discussing the incident with my mother, (who mind you is going through breast cancer and didn't even say a word during the confrontation with Alex.) said as we were leaving my mom told him we were in fact going to a different restaurant. He told her good, get out. Alex, you a bully and a j**** Would you treat your own mother like like?

Very good spot. Came here with my significant other for lunch. Food was amazing. The staff was great and the restaurant was clean. The price was on point as well. The place looks like a hole in the wall on the exterior side, but the interior is pretty spacious. Would definitely come back.

They never should have sat us off they were that busy. Service was super slow. We had reservations but they were sitting their friends without reservations before us. Took us an hour just to get out salads. They never took our drink order. Over been to a lot of restaurants but this place is definately near the bottom the way myyj party was treated.

Do not go unless you have three hours to commit to a meal. The food was ok but I felt so sorry for our waitress. The owner is arrogant. While his wait staff was running he was dancing with one of the waitresses. Really?

I usually have a great time at this place. Tonight, however, while I was enjoying a great glass of wine and food at the bar, one of the other female servers was giving the bartender a hard time. She was doing this in front of customers! She even went so far as to say "Learn how to do your job right for once" . This made it very unenjoyable for me.

After a great day at the Glen Ivy Spa thought I would stop for a appetizer to end the day. After patiently waiting a half hour for a $19 cheese plate I finally asked to have it to go after seeing two tables of 4 served before me. Even though they ordered after me. Received 12 pieces of cheese and two sauces but no carmelized walnuts. They explained that the larger tables had priority or were more important?? Only good thing about the experience is that the cheese was good. Sitting at the bar is not comfortable, waiters constantly buzzing passed you. Otherwise the restaurant setting is very nice, and the food looked good. Larger parties seemed to be enjoying themselves. But as a woman alone, forget about it. I will not be bringing friends or guests to this place after this experience.,

My mother and I came for the wine tasting and we had so much fun. Jacob is absolutely amazing and the best bartender I've ever encountered!! We will definitely be back, if you visit ask for Jacob!

Did wine tasting at the bar with Jacob. He was amazing. He also recommended several items on the menu. We had the best time tasting good wine and had an absolutely delicious dinner! Can't wait to meet family here next time.

African Diaspora do not waste your time and funds here. The owner is rude , condescending, antagonistic, misogynistic a bigot and a racist. As a group of AA women belonging to a National wine club we have never been so poorly treated. The blatant disregard and dismissive behavior was witnessed by so many others customers that they felt the need to apologize for his behavior when they had no investment in the facility. Yes we stayed and finished our prepaid reservations because no one will run us out of an establishment and they will have no choice but to deal with the consequences of their actions If you are an ally, advocate, friends or POC join us in NOT patronizing Racist establishments. We hold the power to get these racist bigots out of our communities.
