Bought a Groupon for a 2 person wine tasting (3-4 glasses) and appetizer. This is only valid during the weekends in the afternoon so be sure to read the guidelines! We were the only ones present for the tasting so it was nice to get the restaurant to ourselves. Wine was a hit or miss but their Cab was a hugee hit for me so I got a bottle for around $70 The star of the show was their appetizer- it was a flatbread/ pizza dish that was made from scratch. we're definitely coming back for their food next time and a glass of their cab

I ordered wine as a gift to a family member. They spelled my family name wrong. I actually called and spelled it for them three times. Also never received an order confirmation email.Good wine though!

Amazing experience! Our group went in for the wine tasting which came with a delicious appetizer. I wasn’t able to participate in the wine tasting but our server, Selene, was so sweet and made me feel included. We can’t recommend this place and Selene enough!

We had reservations for 10 people. We waited over an hour to be seated- then it took a long time for a yeti come over. They forgot to deliver some of our drinks. One of us went to the bar to get the drink that wasn’t delivered. Another one was misdirected. The food was terrible. The flavors of several of the dishes were off putting. One person got pretty close to raw lamb chops. She was afraid to send them back. The water bottle on the table had to be replaced as it was filled with dishwater. My mussels were ice cold by the time I got them and they had to bring me another order. They brought the gluten free person a regular order and had to return for the gluten free. We had 7:45 pm reservations and got out after 11. It cost us $ almost $600 for bad service and food/drinks.

This was an awful experience. The drinks were not made properly and the food was below average and cold. We had a large party (10 people) with a reservation, however waited over an hour to be seated. They forgot some drinks and several came wrong. We ended up going to the bar and ordering our drinks. Some drinks the bartender didn’t know how to make. The food was mediocre at best. The seafood and chicken came cold. The marinara and seafood broth had no flavour. At least 3 people had stomach issues the next morning. One of our party ordered gluten free and a regular meal came. The rack of lamb came raw, even though it was ordered medium. The waitress kept on apologizing and thanking us for our patience. Overall, it was the most disappointing meal and I hope no one ever goes there again.

Gift card given to us so we tried it. Nice trattoria in a strip mall. We started off with Bruschetta…. Unusual in that whole piece of toast, and cherry tomatoes. But quite good. Then we had salads, a Caesar that was a special, and a routine dinner salad. Both were mediocre, would not order again. For entrees, I had the veal marsala, with pasta and meat sauce ($2 upcharge for meat sauce). Pasta was very good, a B+. I’ve ordered veal marsala at many many restaurants, including many in NYC. This was the BEST veal marsala I’ve had. Sauce was not thin and reddish as typical marsala, but brown and more like gravy, likely with cream… but heavenly taste. My wife had the lasagna…..same meat sauce, superb. So both entrees were an A+. Bread was excellent, olive crushed in oil was delicious. Service - overall good, but the waiter seemed unaware that you don’t bring salads a minute after the appetizer arrives, and was instructed to bring it back in say 10 minutes. Also, brought my wife’s desert (also A+ desserts) and did not bring mine out until she was almost done with hers. So some minor service issues. Overall, a 4.5/5 experience. Graded it a 5/5 because there is no 4.5. Prices reasonable. Will definitely dine there again, but skip the salads.

This place is legit! Not your Olive Garden! This chef knows how to cook and presentation is wonderful. Vegetarian friendly, great wine selection, and you MUST sample the deserts.

Very good Italian food and nice menu. Great service. Could’ve walked there from the Embassy Suites hotel where we were staying. Rochelle was our server and did a great job and made it a nice evening.

2023 Review Update - ????? Our experience at Poggio Leano in Temecula was nothing short of magical, especially during their unforgettable Dinner in the Vines event in July 2023! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the beauty of the vineyard setting, with breathtaking views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Dinner in the Vines was an absolute highlight - an exquisite four-course meal expertly crafted by Chef Alex Prestifilippio and thoughtfully paired with their exceptional wines. The attention to detail in each dish was remarkable, and the flavors were nothing short of divine. The vineyard's serene ambiance under the stars made it an enchanting and inspirational evening. Throughout the event, the staff's genuine passion and knowledge about their wines added to the overall enjoyment. Poggio Leano truly knows how to create an exceptional dining experience that we will cherish for years to come. If you have the chance to attend their Dinner in the Vines event, don't miss it! Poggio Leano is undoubtedly a five-star gem in the heart of Temecula wine country. ??️?✨2020 Review - The Poggio Leano Tasting Room & Lounge near Old Town Temecula California is an absolute must for dinner, wine and olive oil tasting! The lounge features authentic, Old World Italian-Style products that are made with love and derived from Alec's Sicilian roots. Had an amazing dinner but then a minor child came in with her mom... And played the piano in a bar with only adults. Isn't there some type ofLabor laws preventing children playing in a bar??

The food was great, our server Salena was amazing but the back house manager or cook wearing all black was awful. Very rude and disrespectful towards his coworker. He cussed in Spanish and made me feel very uncomfortable. If it wasn't for Salena I would've left.

This was our first visit to Gourmet Italia. Service was attentive and I had one of the best steaks that I have had in a long time!

3 stars based on experience with other guests at the event. I am a passport to Siciliy member at this winery, and it was members night this evening. It happened to be the first members night I was able to attend and I was really excited. I entered and there are grey couches immediately when you enter that were empty and I thought that would be a great place to sit. I had a friend coming to join and I had my purse next to me thinking this would be a great place for us to sit and enjoy wine. A large group came and sat down and said "this is our spot now", and continued to move closer and closer until I was forced to stand up off the couch until I finally said "you know what, I will leave". I am definitely not going to argue over a couch at a winery with some rude elderly bullies. I have more class than that.So my friend arrives and we find a seat on the other side of the room next to the bathrooms, and later in the evening one of the men from the couch makes a comment "oh see you DID find a spot" on his way into the bathroom. Absolutely unbelievable. As if bullying me off the couch wasn't bad enough you just had to make a comment on your way into the bathroom. These are the kind of entitled people that go to these events. I probably won't ever go to one again. It definitely didn't make for a good time to be bullied by some old man when I just wanted to enjoy a glass of wine and play tombola without any problems.

The atmosphere was great! The food delicious. I would recommend trying their variety of wines, many they make themselves.

Food was amazing ! The sauces and pasta were fresh and flavorful . It was authentic Italian which is hard to find . The employees went over and beyond to make sure we taken care of . They have 3 locations all over Temecula. We went to another location to grab some delicious gelato! Would definitely go again !!!!
