This place is my go-to for beef noodle soup and tomato egg noodle. Since you can choose the type of noodles, I always go for hand pulled. I also really like their pan fried pork dumplings! Parking is easy. I usually park on the street or there's a public parking lot on the side street.

One of my favorite noodle place around town. Serving authentic northern China style noodle, dumplings, wraps etc. A local shop that I frequent before the pandemic. Just gone back the first time after these few years, the the taste is basically the same as before. We order a noodle soup (the knife cutting style), an appetizer of marinated beef and tendon, and also XLB. The soup noodle tasted the same, huge portion to be shared among two. The noodle is chewy and did exactly right, the marinade beef is slightly spicy but overall yummy. The only problem that I had is the XLB. Maybe I am too used to Din Tai Fung kind of XLB, their XLB skin is a lot thicker than DTF. But I remembered that this is the kind of XLB that I ate when I was a kid. I can tell that someone just made it at the back (as you can tell by the irregular shape of each XLB). Overall, it's not bad, maybe not the kind that I like now. But it's still ok.

we had to revisit and our group ordered the below (see pics) The food was great fresh hot....service very nice tonight. We were expecting the Fried Buns to have soup and more meat in it but maybe we ordered the wrong one.

Food is good, authentic, and fresh. Recommend their Chinese burritos and dumplings. Hot and sour soup is good and the overall price is very reasonable. And yes, I would go back.

It is one of those authentic Chinese restaurants in the SG area. You will be able to find tasty northern Chinese noodles and pies. Nothing bad so far.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the beef noodle soup at New Mandarin Noodle Deli, and I have to say, I was blown away! The soup was piping hot and packed with flavor, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. But what really set this dish apart was the noodles - they were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of chewiness. You want to make sure you ask for the knife cut noodles, they are the bomb! The broth was rich and savory, with just the right amount of spices to give it a bit of kick without being overpowering. The bok choy were fresh and perfectly cooked, adding a delicious crunch to the dish. But what really stood out to me was the attention to detail that went into every aspect of the dish. The soup was beautifully presented, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and the service was top-notch.Overall, I can't recommend this place enough - the beef noodle soup is truly something special. If you're in the mood for a hearty, satisfying meal that will warm you up from the inside out, you simply have to try it. Five stars!

New Mandarin Noodle Deli is a hidden gem. I highly recommend their beef noodle soup, which is simply delicious! The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is cooked to perfection. The noodles have just the right amount of chewiness, and everything comes together to make a satisfying and comforting meal. One of the things that I love about this place is that it's much cheaper than nearby similar restaurants, yet the quality of the food is exceptional. The portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and attentive. In addition to the beef noodle soup, they also have a great selection of other dishes and appetizers, including dumplings and scallion pancakes. Their menu is extensive and offers a variety of options for different tastes and preferences.

To ease some inquiring minds, this restaurant used to be one of the Mandarin Deli locations. After the much-undisclosed drama and change of ownership the monicker was changed and so did the quality of food. The menu has remained mostly the same throughout decades with this location seemingly having additional items. The quality and taste do appear to differ from their origins though. Although they offer more hand-pulled options, the dumplings here are not as delicate tasting and often times bland in filling. Although still good, there was just something lacking with each visit.

This place was packed when we arrived. So glad to see small mom and pop shops doing well. We ordered a soup noodle dish and a pan fried rice cake dish. Both were good but the soup noodle was lacking the usual good flavor. The hand cut noodle was chewy. Parking is available on the street or in the nearby public parking.

This place had been open since my husband was a child. He said this used to be so good. I grew up with northern Chinese food. It's similar to this place. We ordered lamb noodle soup, house special noodle soup, beefcake, and two cold dishes, it takes good, Unfortunately, we both got stomachache afterward. I think is because the water they used is not good. Or maybe from the cold dish or maybe it just we had a sensitive stomachache on that day. To support local Chinese restaurants I would give them a 3 stars. But probably won't come again.
