The pizza tasted horrible. The crust was good but there was almost NO sauce. It was extremely dry. The bacon on it tasted really bad as well. Like it was old or something? A very off flavor. I ordered delivery. The garlic bread had spilt sauce all over the box. It looks like the heat from the sauce melted the lid ruined the food. The one saving grace was the delivery person was so nice.

I've been a customer of Baron's since the mid 1960's (I worked as a bus boy in Sherman Oaks, have been to the one when they moved to Van Nuys, have patronized the Woodland Hills location and then when they opened in Thousand Oaks on Lindero), so needless to say I know their pizza's very well.Last week I ordered a pizza to go from their newer location on T.O. Blvd, and as soon as I opened the box I knew something was wrong. It didn't look the same and upon tasting it, it definitely wasn't the same pizza that I known so well from Barone's for so many years. It had virtually no sauce and a very thin layer of cheese. It did not even taste like pizza, let alone a Barone's pizza!!I was so disappointed the rest of the pie went into the trash. I don't know if it was change in ownership our for economic reasons but my memory of what Barone's Pizzas were will have to remain in my memory. Sadly, I won't be going back to Barone's.

Hands down the best pizza in Thousand Oaks! The staff is fantastic and it smells great when you walk in! Smells like an old school pizzeria! It's clean and inviting, they welcome you like family! I ordered a large pie with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs, a large antipasto & cannolis! All extremely delicious, portions are generous! Will definitely recommend & will absolutely come back!
