I love boba and they do a good job but I always wait so long. They are often out of boba and or it takes over 10 minutes to get me my order. It’s not that it’s super busy it’s just really slow!

I enjoy Chakaa. They have excellent customer service and their atmosphere is on point. The cups they have are super cool. The boba itself, although its not particularly outstanding, lives up to the high standard that SoCal Boba has set. Definitely worth checking out.

I feel like they changed management or something because now this place sucks :( they got a kiosk where you can order yourself however this means you will NOT get your drink in order. I got my drink last and watched everyone that was in line after me, which was about 10 people, get their drink before me (I waited over 25 minutes) because they didn't track the order. My drink also tasted horrible and nothing like its tasted before. I always get a strawberry milk tea and I watched the worker make the entire thing with milk and then just add 4 real strawberries. THEY FORGOT THE TEA PART. The drink itself was literally white, that's how much milk they used! This used to be my favorite place and so many people I've talked to agree that this place has changed for the worse.

Why should I pay a default 18% tip when they flip over the screen? This makes no sense, and I don't feel good I need to remove the tip every time I buy here.
I ordered a boba taro milk. There was hardly any taro in it. Basically, they just sold me milk and ice.

Alert to all parents who can't say no the their kids. This store is equipped with dangerously cute plushies. You probably will walk out with more toys then drinks in your hand. Cheezo Uji Matcha, highly recommended by the staff, and maybe a lot of people love it. However, I keep forgetting so this is a note to myself, order something else because cheezo uji matcha is definitely not for me. I love the sounds of cheezo but it just doesn't taste good for me. Stick with brown sugar boba or anything else beside that one.

They were out of popcorn chicken so that was a big disappointment. I ordered the matcha brûlée and the taro slush. The matcha is more a tea leaf taste rather than your typical matcha latte taste. It was very bitter. Refreshing but bitter. Most likely won’t order again. Taro slush was not that great I’ll give it a 6.5/10. Overall disappointment but the store is so cute . Drinks are expensive starting at $6 without boba.

Awesome to have real tea and boba place in Thousand Oaks! Chakaa makes their teas legit, not with powder. And the boba texture is more on the firm side, which I enjoy. They have milk substitutes: oat and almond milk. The service is a little slow but not unreasonable. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for 10% off and get a stamp card!

I really love this place!! Before we graduated a couple friends n I would come here almost every Thursday ? My go-to drink is the Brown Sugar Bobo Fresh Milk and I highly recommend the Taiwanese Sausage and Sweet Potato Fries!! I love that there is 2nd-level seating and that they sell a bunch of cool keychains, figures, and especially plushies!! My friends and I have bought a couple from this place!! It's a very cozy atmosphere.. :)
