I like it because everything in the butcher shop is fresh but I think to go to this place because of the staff, the cashiers are abusive, hateful, it seems like you are going to ask them for a gift, very bad service from the cashiers.

Great spot for lunch or any special ingredients you can’t find at other grocery stores. Fresh meat, salsa and spices of all kinds for any dish you want to make. I love the California burrito with carne asada, it is very flavorful and they give a huge portion.

One of Establos' strengths is that it's a true meat market - so they're using some of the freshest ingredients. A tiny establishment that has a system going (you order at the register up front, where they have the full menu, and then walk to the meat counter in the back, where the butchers and cooks will get your order ready in a few minutes), once the meal is ready, it's packed for take out: there are some tables outside, in front of the store - and the tables tend to get packed during the warm months - but you can find a place to sit in minutes - the traffic moves fast. The lengua tacos are particularly good and the meat servings in them are generous. The chorizo tacos are top notch - spicy but with the hint of sweetness you get in great chorizo. The asada tacos are good too: sometimes the meat is a little dry - it's diced into small pieces so they tend to cook up fast - but it doesn't detract from the taste. These are all basically street tacos, but the menu boasts are lot of other great stuff. The chicken soup is great - and it's really clean food; probably one of the healthiest choices on the menu. The flour tortillas that are served with the soup are ample and tasty and might be the only real indulgence with that item: one bite, and you'll keep tearing pieces off ... before you realize it, you've eaten your way through five or six tortillas. These flour tortillas are thinly sliced and their consistency is delicate: they can absorb the taste of any meat you put in it, or any soup you dip it in, richly. The guacamole is really great and may even be worth a stop if you just want a snack and you aren't going for a full meal. Well worth the stop if you're up for reasonably priced Mexican food in an unpretentious environment.

I ordered beef soup they gave me a big piece of bone and a little meat it's expensive not cheap but doing that will not get them a lot of business I got less for the price they charge

First time I went and it was a very bad impression. The employees at the butcher shop were too rude. Wow, super despotic and the cashiers. Oh, the owners, don't mention it. Ask for a bag to have a piece of bread. They almost paid me. They are too ugly. They leave a lot to be desired and well. I never think I'll go to the butcher shop again. The man was so rude that his manner scared me.

Their Bean and Cheese burritos are wonderful. We've been coming here for several years now, and they never disappoint.

Been going here for years and one day, I asked what kind of tortillas they used in the kitchen to make burritos. Not the OTC Mission kind or others. They whipped out a bag (No name, who cares) of the large flour tortillas they use for the burritos you buy there. About ten for only $5.00!Far superior to the commercial ones. I freeze them and use as needed. Very nice staff the day I went in.

They are miserable, I bought 3 pounds of carnitas, I asked them for sauce and they don't even want to give onions except a cook, everyone else is just like the manager, they are stingy.

The burritos are out of this world. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you have some friends over to share (or don't mind eating it for several days) the carnitas by the pound is a great deal and so so tasty.

The food is amazing here. The rice and beans are the best around! I will definitely be returning. The customer service was quick and efficient. Prices are fair compared to other places. I highly recommend trying it out!
