Mastro's is back!! I had posted a mediocre review just after Covid, but this is worth an update. Mastro's is back to 100% and wonderful.

Everything was spectacular. Our server, Felipe, was insightful, clear and overall outstanding. The bread service was the best I had thus far. Their signature salad was amazing. The lobster bisque, was good, but not my favorite. We had the filet with garlic mashed potatoes and the lobster mac n cheese. All were fabulous. They made the best virgin mojito I have had, and we loved the dark and quiet ambiance ( we sat in the back dining space). We will definitely dine here again.

Really really enjoyed dinner. The seared sockeye tuna is my new favorite appetizer! The filet was on point, the salmon was freaking delicious, the truffle mushrooms were amaaaaazing, drinks were large & awesome, and our waiter (Felipe') was extremely attentive & friendly. Thanks Mastros!

Everything was ok except when booking I listed BIRTHDAY as our reason for the dinning. The waitress acknowledged the birthday but usually they bring our a complementary cake. NO CAKE. She then took a desert order and charged us for it! Since there was no cake, she thought she could stick it to us by charging for it! No one is thinking customer first.

High-end steakhouse, similar to a Morton's. A step above Fleming's and Ruth Chris, at least in my experience. The food is very well prepared and presented. You will need reservations and expect to valet your car. Great ambiance, live entertainment on some nights, and very classy.

We dine here every couple months. Generally food is wonderful and service is great. Unfortunately, the other evening we had a different experience. Our son found a hair on his steak. It took about five minutes to get anyone's attention. Our server was quite busy with a table that seemed to be regulars. After calling it to his attention, he went to get a manager. While we were waiting, our son moved on to the French fried potatoes. We should have bought a lottery ticket... Yes, he pulled off another hair from the fries. When the manager arrived, I explained what we discovered. He appeared very surprised and looked at the three of us as if to check out our hair. I am bald, so that kept me out of the line up. The hair on the steak was black. My wife and son are blonde. He proceeded to pick the hairs up with tongs and put it on a plate. He was not very nice when asking what we wanted. He even said' "your son is almost finished." As if we timed it to find the hair at the end. Seriously?!? An immediate apology would have sufficed. We were made to feel that we put the hairs there. I asked my son what he wanted. He said he was still hungry. I asked if he could get a new steak. They returned with a replacement within five minutes. There was no way that steak was cooked to order in five minutes. As I suspected, it was quite rare on the inside. We order our steaks medium. Yes, we understand that the plates are 400 degrees and it keeps cooking. Well, no way was this going to hit medium. I tried to get their attention again. Why so difficult? We honestly felt that we were public enemy number one after nicely bringing it to their attention. Finally someone came by and we asked to have it cooked further. After about 10 minutes, it came back. I also asked for a smaller order of fries. Didn't get that. My son took all of this in stride. Even had dessert. They asked me what I wanted. Seriously? I shouldn't have to say. I don't even care about any sort of credit. If I'm going to pay this amount of money on a meal, I would expect service to be amazing. Our bill was credited for the steak but not the fries. We do love this restaurant, not entirely sure if we will return anytime soon.

Last minute decision. Our server Jayla was outstanding. Food was as always terrific. Big Eye Tuna one of my favorites. GM Lena was touching tables as she should, all n all good experience

Had the greatest server, Megan ! Celebrating our son's birthday and she made everyone feel special ! Food suggestions were right on. Meat cooked just right and the plates temperature was good. Our preferred breads were excellent!

Raymond was an exquisite server. But I have to say I wish Mastros enforced dress code. We are used to fine dining and Raymond and Jack delivered that but the clientele def does not respect that. It's an exquisite dining experience and we will be back for Raymond and the food. Also we loved being in the quiet back room. Thank you Mastros for pairing us with Raymond

My husband and I had yet another phenomenal experience here last night. After checking in with the hostess, we were greeted by Brian, the general manager. He is always so nice and attentive to customers. He also remembered our names. I told him that we have a show shortly after, so he seated us immediately and gave us our favorite table in front of the music. I was excited to see that Brittney would be our server for the night. We LOVE her. She is always smiling and warm. Service was a 10/5. We had the dungenous crab cocktail 5/5, the shrimp cocktail 5/5, the crabcake 4.5/5, the brocollini 4.5/5, and the bread basket 3/5. Unfortunately, our bread was not as warm as usually and some parts were cold. Other than that, it was a lovely meal. We also enjoyed the live music 4/5. This is one of the highlights of coming here for me. I HAVE TO sit in front of the show. :)

The food here was okay. Like the sides and stuff like that were not bad but the steak the whole point was so delicious! The desert and drinks were a 10 though The service here took quite some time and it got pretty boring. We ordered the corn, the steak, the butter cake, and the Brussels sprouts. The ambiance here is gorgeous though! It's so fancy and nice.

We have been back a bunch and I am remiss for not updating my reviews. The piano bar has gotten awesome. The fellow last night will be a star. Bougee deliciousness. Why not pull out those sweet pumps and head over for some fun. Service is phenomenal. Shout out to Brittney. Drinks always great, food ridiculously perfect. Great spot. Love.love.
