Great small business donut shop. Decided to grab some for some quick breakfast. These donuts were so yummy & fluffy! Freshly baked & nice friendly worker, can't complain!

Super nice service. So friendly. When I was here (my first visit) - they were having a hard time making a customer's drink. They made it, but it didn't look as presentable as they would have liked. The customer didn't mind, but they apologized and offered complimentary donut holes. Great gesture. Exactly what you would hope for in a local donut shop. Fo me, I had my go-to at every donut place I visit ... the glazed twister. My favorite is in my home town of Davis, CA in a spot called Pink Dozen. Glazed Twister ($1.85, Grade A) The twister at Star Donuts was very good as well. Not too sweet. Not too oily from over-frying. And the texture was chewy - I don't like airy donuts. Plus you could tell it was fresh which should always go without saying at a donut shop, but it happens sometimes. I'd come back and apparently I could come back anytime. This place is open 24 hours ... almost. She said they close for 2 hours between 8p-10p when the baker returns to make the donuts. For those in this neighborhood, I tried the glazed twister at Sugar Box and I did prefer this one. Bottom line - kind and friendly service. Yummy donut. Parking - easy. Big ole' parking lot with CVS and Smart and Final. Plus a few restaurants (Vietnamese, Sandwiches, Indian, Chinese, and Mediterranean)

Under new management the donuts are great and every time I go I see they are improving and updating something. The young girl that works there keeps it very clean.

BEST FRIGGIN DONUTS AND SANSHICHES EVER. don't go at 1 am the almost 24/7 applies there my friend got stuck in the parking lot once. also... WHATEVER U DO DONT slow down other customers and DONT ponder too long at donuts. we were told this by guy with man bun. GIRL WORKING TODAY KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF literally blown out the water with her scrumptious sandwiches. we love you chef, keep serving. #food #stardonuts
The donuts are always fresh and soft. The service is 1000%. I got a surprise donut in my dozen and it was one that I was thinking about getting! It's like he ready my mind!!! They also have seating outside if you'd like to sit outside and enjoy. Can't forget the great drink selection!
