Quality is hit or miss. We were very impressed with Stimulus Package last time that we ordered two of them this time. Here's what medium rare tri tip looks like.

Always delicious food!!!! Portions are large and processed are great! This review is to recognize an outstanding employee. A kind, attentive and hard working employee who helped me out greatly. I didn't know what I wanted or how to order for a very large party. He pointed me in the right direction and showed me a current promo I was thrilled to add on. Thank you BRETT for excellent service!

I've been eating at Stonefire Grill for at least 25 years , starting in Santa Clarita and now in TO ( since moving to Simi) . I love their food but to be quite honest getting tired of the same menu as we eat out quite a bit. Today we went to Stonefire Grill in Thousand Oaks to try the new items on their menu. We were helped by Sean, who was a BIG help and has a great personality! I ordered the Strawberry Walnut salad and it's my new favorite! I'm gluten free and always looking for new things to eat. The blood orange vinaigrette is delicious with the salad! I also took home the pulled pork meal to try for dinner. The last time you offered new items they were not gluten free (like corn tortilla chips/dip etc. Not really hard to get gluten free corn tortillas or tortilla chips so that those of us who have allergies can have appetizers as well!) Sean was so helpful and the food delicious, a 5 star day for us! Keep offering things that gluten free people can eat! Thanks

Had to take a moment to share a positive 'shout out' to Dylan. Great experience this afternoon. Thank you for being so helpful and considerate. Appreciate you.

Dylan at your Thousand Oaks location was so helpful, friendly & had such a calming energy! He saved me $10 today on my meal by suggesting to sign up for the loyalty program while patiently waiting for me to complete my registration while I was at the register placing my order with him. He also served us our food at our table with a smile and willingness to make sure our meal was complete and if we needed anything else! My Mom and I both commented to him how helpful he was and we made sure to let his managers know what an exceptional asset he is to Stonefire Grill. Thank you Dylan! Our food was delicious.

Me: To be perfectly honest... I don't think I've ever actually eaten here. You: But Lance, How can you possibly review a place that you've never actually eaten at? Me: like I said, I've never actually eaten here... But, let's just say I've gotten food to-go plenty of times from this StoneFire Grill to know this place is... 100% Fire!!!! First and foremost... The Breadsticks!!! (Trust me on this, get the full basket of 12, cause a half basket of 6 just won't be enough to go around because they are that delish!) Sides: Our go-to's usually include their nutty coleslaw, sometimes their Pesto Pasta, usually their Caesar salad or garden salad and every once in a while... Yes, I know this place is a Barbecue joint... But, believe me when I say get a pizza as your side (we get their pepperoni with Pineapple; yes, I said pineapple! =) Mains: We are ALL ABOUT that Tri Tip Life!!! (Both ways!!!) We get 1/2 Mesquite Bbq Tri Tip & 1/2 Pepper Garlic Tri Tip topped with Gorgonzola butter and it is.... Yummmmmm!!!! They also have... -Grilled Chicken -Boneless Chicken Breast -Baby Back Ribs -Grilled Salmon Filet -Pulled Pork And of course, mix & match Let's get saucy: Do you like, no wait... Do you LOVE Bbq sauce?? Well, if you're anything like me... You LOVE it!!! And trust... StoneFire Grills bbq sauce is PERFECTION! Dip your breadsticks in it! Drizzle it on your salad!! Dunk your Tri Tip into it!!! Hell, drink it with a straw if you're up for the challenge. Just make sure that you get plenty of it (even if you have to pay a little extra), you won't regret it! How we roll: This location is always buzzing especially on Friday evenings and the weekend so be prepared for a little wait even if doing takeout. My advice for to-go ordering is to order ahead and pay in advance; Orders come out fairly prompt. The last time I was there, the to-go order section was pretty slammed especially with the increase of people using food delivery services. So... Now that I'm salivating over the delicious content of this review, who is ready to get some bbq!! Pro Tip: Get the Stimulus Package! And one of these days... You just might catch me actually eating at the restaurant instead of getting it to-go... TBD ;) Until then, Peace!

Had a very poor experience at this restaurant. I ordered food for pickup and it took after 30 minutes from the designated pickup time to receive the order after having to go in and ask for an update. When I did finally get the order the food was very cold, tri tip that was ordered to be medium rare was very well done, and the portions are very small for ordering half a trip tip and it not even filling half of a medium sized to go container.

Disappointing Chicken Alfredo Lacks Creamy Indulgence Amid Chaotic ServiceIn a recent dining experience, I sampled the chicken alfredo dish, only to be met with a cold and lackluster rendition in the midst of chaotic and disorganized service. The pasta itself was the main protagonist of this culinary tale, with Alfredo seemingly playing a minor role in the production. The scant amount of sauce provided little respite, leaving the dish feeling dry and devoid of the creamy indulgence one would expect from a classic alfredo.Amidst the chaos of the service, the dominant flavor profile was that of parmesan cheese, overwhelming the dish with its intensity. This unbalanced composition resulted in a meal that lacked the desired harmony between pasta, sauce, and protein.Ultimately, the chicken alfredo fell short of expectations, failing to deliver the rich and satisfying experience that this beloved dish is renowned for. With a more generous application of Alfredo sauce and a careful reevaluation of the dish's components, this rendition could undoubtedly be elevated to meet the standards of a truly memorable dining experience. And remember, if Alfredo wanted to serve just pasta with a sprinkle of cheese, he would have named it "Parmesan Paradise" instead!
