I so regret not trying this spot sooner because I had a fabulous lunch here today. I love the Sumo chain here in the 805 and I've known people to say this spot was good but I honestly just forget it's here. Today I made it in for lunch though and I was blown away by the freshness of the fish and the stellar service. After going to all the sushi restaurants in all of TO and NP, along with other spots around Cali, this is by far the best. I just really like their rolls here. However it can be hit or miss with the service, most of the time it's great but sometimes it can be off. Will always come back but sometimes the service isn't all there.

Love going to Sumo Japanese Restaurant in Newbury Park. It's a halfway spot for myself & one of my good friends. We enjoy coming for dinner & definitely here for the yummy Happy Hour.
