Arrived for a Friday lunch and were seated quickly in a booth. Server was Frank, and he was awesome!! I had signed up for the e club, so we chose the firecracker shrimp starter. It was delicious. My son ordered the bison burger with no lettuce or tomato and he enjoyed it. He said the bison was delicious. He really enjoyed the fries. I ordered the lunch size Kung pao chicken with brown rice and I enjoyed it. My son ordered a huckleberry beer and Frank brought him a taste of a similar beer, Walrus IPA, to try and my son actually preferred the one Frank suggested. We ended up also ordering the apple and huckleberry pie which we both enjoyed. Great service and delicious food!

Great place to go for happy hour and recommend sitting at hot bar or one of the high tops.

Lazy Dog is one of the best restaurants in Thousand Oaks! Great service (from all of the staff), Great food, very clean restaurant! Has a kind of cozy, comfortable, family like ambiance! The patio is very nice also, we like to sit out in the patio area during warm summer nights & I can bring my little dog to sit with us!!

I can literally write so much about this place and our incredible experience. Starting with the hosts, they greeted me with a smile and got us seated quickly. We had never been here before and decided to check it out. First of all Tony the manager, incredibly helpful, generous, and kind. Zach was our first waiter and he was so knowledgeable about the food on the menu, showing us all the great plates and even some of his favorites. I ordered a cucumber thyme refresher and chicken katsu, hubby got the bbq bison meatloaf meal. As an app we got the lettuce wraps and chicken wings. My daughter got the kids chicken nuggets which weren't bad but she prefers McDonald's lol but they were kind enough to remove them from our check (which was completely not necessary) and brought her Mac and cheese. Since this was our first visit there Tony brought us out some waffle fries/chips which were absolutely amazing. The garlic/parmesan seasoning so so delicious, despite being absolutely stuffed I still wanted more. At the end my daughter got a build your own Sunday but being the picky eater that she is didn't even use the raspberry puree or sprinkles which were also amazing. Our experience here was a great one and we will certainly be back. Also let's not forget the ambiance... very cool spot for a birthday, casual or fancy dinner date, or for us a quick spot to stop after a late night sports practice. Great music in the background, restrooms are clean.

SERVICE 5/5 FOOD 3/5 AMBIANCE (patio) 5/5 Stopped by on a Wednesday evening for a happy hour.. What we loved: - Our waitress was super friendly, helpful and patient. Our food was occasionally brought out by other waiters and they were all equally as friendly. Stellar customer service - Happy hour options: plenty of drink and food options at reasonable prices! HH runs until 6 pm, which was great! The pink lemon drop martini and blueberry beer were both good options. - Patio seating area was so nice! we loved the fire pit too. The food fell short in our opinion... Sweet potato tots could've been a little more crispy, chicken quesadilla wasn't to our taste, buffalo cauliflower was 'just ok', etc.. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things? For the vibe and HH prices I'd be willing to give Lazy Dog another shot, but will remember to opt for other food next time.

Easter Sunday after church decided to go to Lazy Dog for lunch. Had 2 burgers ,wedge salad and Thai noodles. Spent $84 including tip. Burgers were nothing special , not charred typical Dennys type burgers , Thai noodles were more like instant noodles that were pan fried with chicken and the noodles were all stuck together in a single clump. Folks I am not a guide just sharing but for $84 could have done better . Nothing exceptional here -dressed up Dennys restaurant.

Okay food and overpriced drinks. They get crowded during the weekends, understandably, and be prepared to wait. I don't eat dogs, so can't rate them. Great location but could be brighter and cleaner.

I ordered the pot roast for lunch. It was tough and chewy with a lot of fat. There was zero seasoning to it. Even with adding salt. It was still flavorless.
