This is a Hidden spot in Newbury! Definitely better than any sandwich place we've tried. The place is small and cozy and the people working are ridiculously nice. We tried "The Hulk" and then "The Stanley Cup". Both have marinated chicken but we added jalapeños and it was beyond awesome. Definitely recommending to others, shout-out to Danny too

Love all the choices of sandwiches with their fun names. We always get it with everything on it on the Dutch bread. They're quick to make your sandwiches. We've not had one we didn't like yet. Not much seating inside but plenty of benches outside.

A super stellar sandwich spot in the 805, definitely don't overlook this spot as I've been guilty in forgetting they are around as their location isn't super "in your face" based on location. Located in Newbury Park this is a great sandwich takeout spot on this side of the county. They actually are a fairly large chain in NorCal and we're lucky to have a location down south. I can't speak to the ambiance or service as I've only ordered delivery from here but the subs never disappoint. I like that through yelp you can order delivery from this spot. Yes, it's makes it pricier but it's a nice splurge when you don't want to get in your car and go through the inside ordering process. Plus these subs travel well and always taste good "to go" so for that reason it's an easy delivery staple for me. They have a pretty cool and unique menu of sandwich options. I like the names of the subs such as the lancer or the lion or the 805. Fun play on names and the menu has something for everyone, hot and cold subs. My go to continues to be the 805. I'm a sucker for the cream cheese added to subs and their bomb sauce is definitely bomb aka delicious. I'm a saucy girl so that's why their subs are supreme to me, never dry, always flavorful. And you definitely need to order the Dutch crunch type of bread, just do it, it's phenomenal. While I can't rate service from dining in, I will give credit where it's due and say that my order is always made correctly and packaged nicely - which is a way to review service so I definitely think they deserve 5 stars. Remember this is a local sandwich shop. It's no frills, not fine dining but even a good sub sandwich takeout spot can be 5 stars worthy and this place is that all day long. Check them out if you haven't already. They satisfy your carb cravings that's for sure.

The food here is literally 10 out of 10. Highly recommend this spot for a sandwich! The only reason why I'm not giving this review a 5 star is because I'm not a fan of employees who don't look happy to be at their job. I even felt like I didn't want to ask for napkins because they all look unhappy. But I highly recommend this place solely on how good the food is.
I love this place. If you fancy a big, tasty, filling sandwich then you found the right place. They offer different types of bread/rolls. And this is one of the only places in Southern California where I have found Dutch Crunch. I always go for theDodger Blue Chicken Sub, with all the trimmings. I always place the order in advance and then just pop by to collect it.

Having a very last minute need for food after a funeral, the Sandwich Spot came to the rescue. Not only did they put together beautiful trays of sandwiches for us, they went over and above including everything we might need. But most importantly, the sandwiches were delicious. Everyone raved about them. The Sandwich Spot will definitely be my go to place in the future. I will also tell all my friends about how terrific a place it is! With so much appreciation, thank you to the owner and staff!

The service is exceptional attentive and friendly, I ordered 3 sandwiches and a side of macaroni salad. As I have been craving a chicken salad sandwich, I decided to order dinner from this place. The #1 "The Rocco" sandwich was quite tasty, they ran out of Copacolla, so Bacon was added instead of it and was quite good. The #6 "The big Tom" was a bit unusual but made with quality ingredients. The macaroni salad was just ok, a bit on the tangy side. I was so disappointed to found out that the "chicken salad" is not a "chicken salad" but chopped chicken with mayo...no celery or onions neither any other kind of veggie or nut of a typical "chicken salad". It's definitely not worth the try and felt cheated by the description of "chicken salad" that didn't exist. Let me point out that the Dutch crunch roll was crunchy, fresh, and delicious....I'll probably would give this place another try just for their bread and great customer service
